Highlights from both bays 1 & 2, Racha Yai Island is only an hour and a half boat ride from Chalong Bay, Phuket. We went out to the island with Sea Bees Scuba Diving out of Phuket on their own operated boat. Highly recommend you check them out for yourselves.

There is plenty explore from the artificial reef to wrecks. The artificial reef made up of steel and concrete hollow cubes attract a huge arrange of sea life, though not much in the way of coral at this stage. Its a great spot to explore in and around.

The Harruby live-aboard wreck is situated in between Bays 1 and 2 and is our pick. The bottom of the wreck is at around 20 metres. It's in excellent condition and is the best wreck in the area and very safe for beginners to swim through.

The old Thai wooden fishing boat is located a little further east of Harruby. The wreck is rapidly deteriorating but is still an interesting site to see with lots of marine life about.
