  • IF YOU THINK THERE ARE TOO MANY ADS ON THIS VIDEO, READ THIS: You're probably right lmfao. But... copyright claims mean that I don't control the amount of ads on this, nor do I make any money off of them, so. Download an ad-blocker or get YouTube Premium or something 😤😤😤
  • A completely random note of a two second clip in a 3 hour video, but I will always love DaFoe's delivery of "Norman's on sabbatical, honey".

After watching, I can completely understand why you're tapping out of the MCU. I partially did already, with not watching any of the latest shows (except for Secret Invasion). I'm so grateful for your MCU retrospectives as it helped me re-live everything I enjoyed, and also summarized what I missed from the shows I skipped. Either way, glad this video series introduced me to your channel!
  • I'm so glad I discovered this series. Watching this part feels like graduating and moving away from my hometown, bittersweet. Grateful for the hours and hours you've put into these videos. It was a hell of a ride for the MCU :)
  • @FlurryMainchin
okay but "scooby-doo this shit" is actually a pretty fire line to come from a frustrated Dr. Strange to Peter, it's built on Peter annoying the shit out of everyone by making all the pop culture references when they were in space
  • @tommy_swim243
Shang chi had no reason being as much of a banger as it turned out to be.
  • @Knight622ny
3:06:16 I DON'T CARE IF I'M ALONE ON THIS. I'm excited for the Dark Knight Trilogy retrospect. Nice upload dude
  • Just watched through the entire retrospective and loved it! A shame to see your MCU journey come to an end as your videos perfectly capture the anticipation leading to each film and TV series, but I can understand. While Phase 4 and the current beginning of Phase 5 have split audiences, I appreciated the experimentation with each entry. Whether that was for the best is entirely subjective to the viewer, but I’ll continue to watch the MCU as there is still no franchise that has been able to replicate this level of world building, interconnectivity, and characters that I have grown to love and invest in. But as Tony himself put it best: “Part of the journey is the end….”.

I like how you build hype up every movie/tv series before they're out, explaining them then telling how they actually turn out instead of foreshadowing how they goes. Pretty great

the NOW ended MCU Retrospective is back
  • @ComptonCrypto
I totally get that you're over it now, BUT I have to say it's refreshing to hear a retrospective form someone who is actually a fan. Not someone that just wants to watch whatever show or movie is hot, not one of the people that have strong-armmed their way into "nerd culture" but an honest to goodness fan. She Hulk wasn't the best programming of all time, but I liked it. Same for Hawkeye, i'd probably never rewatch those two shows but they were both cool. As with all real fans IMO im just grateful to see a live action rendition. Again, amazing job my G you killed it

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law just frustrated me and I gave up long before the end. She is an attorney that demonstrates that she has nearly ZERO knowledge of the law and frequently breaks the law and her oath as a lawyer. I know the Marvel Universe assumes that we will take many leaps of faith, but when you mix in things that most viewers have a basic understanding of and them show the protagonist as incompetent in doing these things yet desires to be recognized for the skills that she doesn't demonstrate, I just have to check out.

I haven't even watched yet but I know the next 3 hours of my life are going to be nostalgic and depressing... youre videos transport us back into the thrilss and disappointments of every phase. Phase 4... What a wild ride it's been. Let's goooo
  • @Dudeman23rd
As an obsessive MCU fan, I fully respect your decision to step away from it now. It's getting hard to maintain hope that all these movies will come together in any sort of satisfying way, and that can be exhausting. Thanks for these wonderful retrospectives, they're full of passion and honesty and the wonder and excitement we all felt watching the movies be rolled out one by one. Can't wait to see what you do next!
  • @MisterQuinzel
I just wanted to tell you that while I disagree with some of the things you said, and partially agree with other, I appreciated the time and obvious love you had into these retros. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
  • @GarrusDeWitt
The excitement I felt on seeing this in my feed. I've barely watched any of the phase 4 content because I'm Marveled out but very much looking forward to see your recaps.
  • @cjayyeck5015
this has been by far one of my favorite series on YT and I thank you for making these, how it is sad you won’t be doing them anymore, however you’ve earned yourself a fan and i’m excited for the next series
  • @kasai7953
As someone who's been with the MCU since the beginning and enjoyed it just as much now as I always have, it's sad to see you go. And especially see the completely different tone this video has from the previous ones. But I understand your exhaustion. It was really nice hearing you be so passionate about the MCU! I feel while the ride may be bumpy for now, I still have a good few more years in me. Who knows, maybe something will pull you back in at some point. Regardless, thank you for your heartfelt videos. And for your time loving the MCu with us! Goodluck on your future adventures!

The scene from no way home when we get the peter tingle for goblin being back is top 5 marvel.
