33 mile bike ride Mirfield to Slaithwaite via Huddersfield Narrow Canal

Lovely ride that! Those width restrictors are a pain though aren't they - bad enough for normal bikes but mountain bikes... 🧐 It's always baffled my why people wear headphones while out walking or riding, and are oblivious to their surroundings. I thought you could get headphones now that allow you to hear what's going on around you, but it seems folk haven't got them. I do like those leather grips on your bike, they suit it well and I bet they're comfortable as long as any seams don't dig in.
