I like to imagine in this universe, that class D was an elite MTF soldier who became a class D after trying to use the HID to kill the shy guy once before, except he was stopped before firing it, because the foundation didn't think it'll work. When this containment breach happens, he gets the chance to finally use it, then escapes the facility.

once played with a man named Danny who, as a D-class, outsmarted the SCPs and guards, killing two scps with a pistol, then proceeded to outmaneuvur the MTF and kill about Half (10) of them with a pistol, and then escaped. the following round I encountered him as 173, and he said "If you have any pride as an anomaly, you'll let me live" and then immediatly turned around and walked away. I didn't kill him of course.
