Truth or Dare (2017) is even worse but it does have the fantastically stupid tagline of "Do the dare, or the dare does you."

Nice to celebrate the Christmas season by watching bad horror movies in November.

I just got to Bye Bye Man bit and you’re right the beginning was chill. It would be cool if the Bye Bye Man never was a real physical thing or ever shown. It was just an idea that slowly drove people crazy. It could have been a strong psychological horror imo. Like imagine thinking the entire movie the Bye Bye Man is a real person or monster but it never shows up. It would be wild.

I love how the intro/narrator guy is talking dramatically and with an accent thats boosts the mood and then Igor is just a generic guy. -Igor!!!!!! -Yes, boss?
  • No, you can't honestly believe that the blonde from The Bye Bye Man did an acceptable job as an actress. That "accent" alone should have had her catapulted back to England.

“Oh hai fwiend” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 damnit this oughta be t-shirt material Cordz 🤣🤣🤣
  • ...Another old, possibly latino, lady that knows everything about the paranormal stuff going on? Well, that's how you know it's an original and scary movie
  • It's much scarier to leave the haunting open ended, where the people die and the legend/haunting lives on. Like don't play truth or dare in Mexico, because people died and no one knows how to stop it.

I really wanted you to touch on the fact that the main character was asked "if you had to pick between your best friends to die, or a all country, who would you choose?", and her obviously choosing her friends to die because she was established a do gooder, everyone else before her, gotta give back to the needy and the poor blah blah. So at the end she ended up doing the complete opposite, which kind of turns her into an hypocrite and a liar. I guess one way to look at it is character development, but I just feel that they threw away the one thing that made her who she was, doing things for the greater good, no matter who has to pay for it. (but again that's just how I saw it)
  • The dumb face they make in Truth or Dare just reminds me of Radio Rebel and all the intimidation just goes out the window.

I’m on the first review w Ouija and I’m wow. They’re so uninterested and unemotional how am I supposed to feel anything from this. Grief obviously affects everyone differently but for me, yeah, I was into that supernatural stuff for a good while after my mom died. I couldn’t even say her name without crying and I desperately needed that connection again. If they had conveyed that properly the movie coulda been rly good.
