Today I'll be going through my Cream Blush collection and swatching everything, giving mini reviews, and decluttering along the way. I hope this is helpful for anyone who might be looking to add any of these to their collection...there were a total of over 200 blushes and I got rid of 74, leaving 138 remaining.

LINKS/WHERE TO BUY
*I'm planning to leave a pinned comment with all of the blush links because they're not going to fit here in the description box (it has a 5,000 character limit).

💖 ABOUT ME:

Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time YouTuber with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. I hope you enjoy my channel and if you do, please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE & leave me a comm

  • I’ve never obeyed shelf life stickers and I never will when it comes to makeup.🤷‍♀️ Sorry! If it doesn’t smell weird or look bad, I’m keeping/wearing it!

Tip to make your doe foot blushes last way past the “best by” date: never put the wand directly on your skin. Even freshly cleansed skin has bacteria that naturally lives on our faces. Buy a small cheap steel, glass, or plastic makeup palette. With all your products that you dip back into, just put makeup directly on the palette then use it. Bacteria will not get into your products and they’ll last soo much longer
  • My family just found out that my dad has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. It’s turned my world upside down. Something about watching you swatch and talk about blush, has been sooooo incredibly calming. Thank you. 💛🌻

It's crazy to think that in the 80s and 90s and a little beyond that I only used one blush, eyeliner, mascara and maybe had 4 neutral eyeshadows, one foundation and one powder (Mostly Clinique or Loreal). Now that we have access to so much affordable makeup and people willing to share info like this, I definitely have a broader assortment! I also am having fun using more color these days and I am in my late 50s. I really appreciate you sharing so much information about all the products you try!

I will say this, if the cream formula hasn’t changed in consistency or doesn’t smell bad, you can probably still use them. The expiration dates on those things are kinda crap, they want you to buy new products quicker. I have cream blushes that I’ve had for years and they still work the same. Eye products I understand a little more about getting rid of quicker because it’s near your eyes.

You have an incredible makeup collection and I've said it before, but I'll say it again... Your declutters are my absolute favorite because you only get rid of products that are past their prime or that you really don't care for. You have such a good eye for color and your memory of formulas is beyond amazing! I love the comparisons and the feedback you give. This was a huge accomplishment to get through all your blushes to declutter. And lastly, I kind of want to go get the blush Mel recommended just because it was her. She has a special place in soooo many hearts, including mine. She is an angel who was taken much too soon!
  • @AmyPetrucci
I honestly can listen to you talk about makeup all day ❤
  • Wow! You put a heck of a lot of work into this video. It took me three sit-down sessions to get through it, but I really appreciated seeing all the choices and hearing your expertise impressions. I have a little list now of the ones I want to try. Thanks for doing this video!
  • I wish rare beauty would release her blushes in minis !!! Also you would loveee the liquid blush in the shade Grace they describe it as a bright rose mauve matte and it’s such a unique gorgeous color on the cheeks !!! I also love mixing them and creating my own colors … I have 6 shades (Hope, Bliss , Encourage, Grace , Happy and Believe ) they’re all my favorite hahahaa
  • Ordered 5 & 6 of the Kiko. Will definitely order the Juiva too. I recently ran out of my Rare Beauty-which lasted 2.5 years and I loved it, the Juvia reminds me them so excited to try. This is far and away the best blush video I have ever seen and saved to favorites. Thanks Jen!
  • It never ceases to amaze me how we keep buying the same colors, or close to colors over and over again. I’m not a YouTuber, but for a single person I have so much I finally told my daughters and granddaughters to come over and grab some stuff, especially with eyeshadows I started pulling out, pallets, and even the new pallets to come out. I promise I can pull out a pallet that has the same colors. They’re just not all in the same pallet which is convenient but at the same time how much money am I spending on cosmetic’s. And I just bought the Ccolor, cosmetics, new blush sticks, which are awesome
  • @Ward10B
love this! please do one with single shadows
  • @LenaSheppard
LOVED! Oh the colourpop/moira ones just make me swoon. Beautiful. Thank you for being with us !
  • I’ve immediately added this to my favorites. Jen, thank you for swatching these! I appreciate that so very much. ❤
  • Really fun watching!👍❤️☕️ I have a cranky immune system that leaves me more vulnerable to infections so I’m pretty careful not to go beyond that suggested time stamp as some of that best before date has to do with the time zone where the preservatives act at peak efficiency. I find the “clean” products use less preservatives or less effective ones and some of them go bad faster.
  • Love these swatch videos Jen!! Especially when it comes to blushes, my favorite makeup item! 😊 It is so helpful! Thank you! 💕
  • Looking forward to the powder blushes. The L.A girl just blushing powders are my favorite of all time.
