In the height of summer, I headed to the Haiyuan market in Kunming, Yunnan, China. This market is located on the outskirts of a residential area. Every Thursday, the market comes alive with colorful stalls and the enticing aroma of delicious food. Unexpectedly, as soon as I arrived, it started to rain heavily, disrupting my filming plans.

The market is a food lover’s paradise with a wide variety of delicious treats. There’s freshly roasted crispy pork, flavorful Xuanwei ham, spicy lamb, golden and crispy fried glutinous rice cakes, aromatic fried sunflower seeds and chestnuts, and uniquely flavored coarse grain bacon rice. Additionally, many small vendors sell a diverse array of exotic and expensive wild mushrooms, which are a feast for the eyes.

Unfortunately, the sudden heavy rain forced me to stop filming halfway. Many planned visits and shots of more foods and interesting items were left unfinished. The unpredictable weather left me feeling quite helpless and regretful. This experience made me more aware of the unexpected challenges of traveling. However, it's these uncertainties that make every journey filled with unique memories and experiences.

    作为一起拍视频的同行，有几点要说明一下。罗非鱼只是因为没有小刺，所以只是喜欢用它来做烤鱼。靠山吃山，云南也有沿海没有的山珍。我们也吃鲈鱼和黄花鱼。 野生菌根据品种不用而价格不同，今天野生的美味牛肝菌是50-80元一公斤。并非家庭承担不起，不然在你的视频里，也不会有那么多卖野生菌的。 豌豆粉，我们不是蘸红辣椒油来吃的。 最后，希望你下次再来美丽的云南。 As a colleague who took the video together, I have a few points to explain. Tilapia just doesn't have small spines, so we just like to use it for grilled fish. The mountains depend on the mountains, and Yunnan also has delicacies that are not found along the coast. We also had sea bass and croaker. The price of wild mushrooms varies depending on the species. Today, delicious wild porcini mushrooms cost 50-80 yuan (USD 7/1KG) per kilogram. It’s not that families can’t afford it, otherwise there wouldn’t be so many people selling wild mushrooms in your video. We don’t eat pea flour dipped in red chili oil.     Привет из Бурятии! Было интересно. У вас большое разнообразие. Грибы смотрю есть похожие на наши, маслята, сыроежки. У вас свинину очень сильно обжаривают. Но вы любите такое мясо. И я думаю, как у вас выдерживает печень. Я например люблю такое мясо,сало, но печень не позволяет. Очень жаль для меня. Народу очень много. Да, видно что пожилых ходит много. Спасибо за видио. Пока.
