Canonically, Twitter is so horrible it's not even allowed in Hell.
  • @CeHee123
Let's be real. A show dealing with characters in hell doing depraved shit was always going to spark controversy. But honestly, Twitter could find the purest and most innocent thing in the world and make it out to be a crime against humanity. Its all so tiring.

“I can’t believe angelic items was our one weakness!!” Pans to the shot of vaggie losing her eye and wings to the weapons and almost dying from lutes angelic weapon. …yeah

Solid analysis, but, I can explain the ducks, or at least, provide a solid theory. Notice in the flashback during 'More than Anything' notice that one of the few happy memories we see between Charlie and Lucifer involves a rubber duck. The ducks are him trying to reclaim the happiness of that moment while he's still fighting off depression (which apparently can come with hyperfixation as a symptom).

I love people who refuse to call Twitter what its new owner decided it should be called.

Any controversy that happens on Twitter is MOSTLY blown out of proportion

I'm not a Viziepop fan, but I am super proud of her and her crew on making this a reality. How many of us content creators dreamed of a chance like this, and Vizie is living it. I hope her all the best and no randomly deleting her show because of "tax write offers" like Infinity Train and its creator had to experience.
  • I think the biggest factor that harms the pacing is that in the current climate in the animation industry they probably couldn’t guarantee they’d get another season. That means they have to play it both ways, setting things up for future seasons while also telling a complete story arc in the eight episodes they were given so that if the show gets cut they don’t leave things on a cliffhanger.

I think the only real issue with Hazbin Hotel is that it’s too short, which I blame Amazon Prime animation studios for rather than Vivziepop and her team

21:03 On that Note, The only beings that can be BORN In hell are the Hellborn; Like Imps, Hellhounds and Charlie. But! Sinner's aren't able to reproduce! So if you see a Sinner Child, then that Child died, and went to Hell. So technically if you are BORN In Hell, you technically just live Life like no other, so? So they aren't really "Born into Eternal Damnation".

Gotta remember that from a biblical perspective, Lucifer isn't the opposite of God, he's a sort of rebellious son... Or planned opposition.

Twitter has ruined film criticism. It's reduced everything to either a 10/10 masterpiece or a zero with no entertaining values.

I'd argue that Lucifer and Charlie's reconciliation is far from forced. Their relationship bears all the hallmarks of a parent with depression being unable to take care of their family. In this case, Lucifer being the one depressed, and unable to emotionally support his wife or daughter, resulting in Lilith divorcing him and taking Charlie with her. They are estranged because of a combination of Lucifer being unable to be the father his daughter needed, and Lilith most likely keeping Charlie away from Lucifer after their divorce, monopolizing her time and attention. Also, just because Charlie as an adult is very similar to Lucifer does not mean that Lucifer was a good parent for her as a child, but could be a very good friend and parent as an adult instead. Another thing is that if you pay attention to the details, a lot of their characters make sense. Charlie in an early episode says how "He (Lucifer) only calls when he needs something." and Lucifer in his episode exclaims "This is the first time SHE'S called YOU in years!" which implies a heavy miscommunication that goes something like this: Lucifer: calls when he needs something in an attempt to reach out while giving his child space. "oh she never calls me so i won't push into her space unless i have a reason, better to let her reach out at her own pace" Charlie: does not call because she thinks Lucifer does not care for her. "oh he only calls when he wants something, so i won't bother him unless i need something." Also, the ducks make perfect sense as in the scene where Lilith takes Charlie away, you can actually see that Lucifer was creating ducklings turning into (seraphim) swans as entertainment for Charlie. It's safe to assume that happy memory was one of the last for both Charlie and Lucifer, and so Lucifer in his depression focuses on those happy memories and hence, the duck obsession. Out of universe iirc Viv made the ducks as a funny Veggietales reference.
  • I almost wonder if Vivien didnt know she'd be getting another season. This kinda reminds me of Legend of Korra, where they kept the creators in the dark as to whether they'd get more seasons so they had to cram what they could into it to try completing the story.
  • "Some people even spend over $50,000 for the occasion." I see what you did there.

Adam didn’t move up the extermination date because of Charlie’s proposal. The meeting was to inform hell that the extermination was being pushed up, and Charlie just also threw in her proposal during the meeting.

The short season definitely hurt Pentious the most. Suddenly getting a ton of screen time in the last two episodes made it pretty obvious he was going to die in the battle and go to heaven. You don't have a chance to really get to care about him then suddenly he's getting a lot of love and yeah, I see where this is going. (Loved how casual his death was though. No horrible bloody death just FWOOSH and he's gone without so much as a chance to realize what happened)
