Hey Ludi, I'm a developer for this mod, the reason currently that brandenburg is brunswick is an error with the tags currently Victoria 3 doesn't have, a tag for brandenburg. We are currently trying to fix the age bug without adding a setup phase of simply killing every leader in the world at game start. We are also trying to create new subject types for areas like Japan, and the HRE to allow them to properly function through decisions. The tech trees are coming in the next update but its currently being reworked to go all the way back to 1444

You might think that 1,000 years old really isn't THAT old, but then consider this: When he was born he was -360 years old, meaning he has walked the earth for nearly 1,400 years.

This is hands down my favorite mod for Vicki3. I've been playing various nations with it for a couple of weeks. It is awesome. I hope it gets government and tech reworks. But even if not, its fun as is.
  • Such a great mod! EU4 timeline WITH a vampiric benjamin button flair, that's just gold

Prestige in vic3 is more like a combination of the 3 scores in vic2. It also makes sense IRL. For example, Japan in the early 1980s had a relatively large industrial output, but "prestige" wise it couldn't really be compared against the militarily and still industrially powerful USSR. Or, today UK is not great in terms of industrial output, but due to its relatively powerful military in Europe it is sometimes more relevant than Germany in situations such as the current war in Ukraine. Small states such as Switzerland have presences that are felt quite strongly in the international stage also because of certain reputation they hold, which is less relevant to their industry or military.

They have negative ages most likely because 1444 is 400 years before 1836. So their real ages probably follow a formula of (1444-1836+actual age)

Those cursed childs all over the place are the most amazing part of the mod.

  • "You get a ton of a ton of resources, a ton of stuff from Colonialism" So, historically accurate then!
  • Coal plantations sound like you are planting regular trees, with the intention to leave them lone for millions of years under pressure, so that they eventually become coal

Juan Carlos built a time machine in Dubai and travelled to 1444 to govern the chiefdom of the Canaries
