ROUND-BREAKING AI BRINGS HISTORY TO LIFE – NEW EXHIBITION UNVEILS THE UNTOLD STORY OF A GILDED AGE AMERICAN HEIRESS.

A new exhibition offers a glimpse into the captivating world of Alberta Sturges Montagu, the 9th Countess of Sandwich, and an American Heiress from the renowned era known as The Gilded Age.

Curated by Mapperton’s very own American Viscountess, Julie Montagu, the "American Heiress" collection is comprised of more than 10,000 previously unseen letters exchanged between Alberta (Sturges) Montagu and her family, as well as the peerage at large.

Dating from 1888 to 1951, these letters constitute the largest unpublished private collection of correspondence from the period. They offer a remarkable glimpse into the life of a "dollar bride" during the Gilded Age, shedding light on both triumphs and struggles.

The exhibition takes innovation to the next level by introducing Alberta AI, a ground-breaking creation that brings her story to life like never before.

“With the aid of cutting-edge AI technology, we've resurrected Alberta's voice, allowing her to answer visitors’ burning questions about her remarkable journey,” says Julie Montagu, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke.

A large antique round wine jug would be great in the window. The sunlight shining through it would be beautiful.

I live in a small village in SW France. If my window is open, my lovely mailman hands me my mail through the window.
  • Julie, thank you so much for these videos. As a fellow American what has happened yesterday is so heavy on my heart with our country being torn apart. I was just in tears. Thank you for a reprieve and a safe place for my mind to visit. It helps so much to see the world still turns and there is beauty to still experience. Grateful that you’ve brought me some Tuscan therapy. You’re IMPORTANT in many lives.

I like the way they still plaster the stone walls as opposed to dry wall. Really the same basic techniques used as in Roman times. ❤

The window is so beautiful I would not put anything in front of it. Let the sunshine in! Your house is gorgeous.
  • What a joy to see your little Italian house coming together! You have put so much care and thought into every detail in every room. The kitchen is absolutely lovely!

WHERE ON EARTH DO YOU GT ALL YOUR NEVER ENDING ENERGY????? You are absolutely amazing!!!!
  • @jpm9316
I vote for a beautiful, antique painted rooster for that corner window … classic!

My suggestion for above the kitchen sink in front of that nice new clean window, would be three or four pots of mother-in-law tongues. They are a beautiful plant that can offer you privacy and they can live through some pretty bad drought. They're the perfect plant for people who kill plants.

I absolutely love the sage green!!!! The backsplash is beautiful!!
  • I hear some British English mixing in your American English. It’s adorable 🥰

I think in your window you need a large hand blown vase of many colors, so the sun shines through it and shines jewels of color around the room. Get an oversized one and don’t put any thing in it like reeds or dried grasses. Let the light from your window have a free path through it so it sparkles. You could put a small assortment of colored bottles of different shapes and colors up there too. Italy is known for beautiful glass and that is a great window sill for displaying some!
  • I am a Brit married to an America, living in Savannah! I am distinctly hearing some “English” accents in your excitement describing your delightful home in Italy!

You should get self-watering planter pots. Perfect for properties you are not at all the time. I have them for a second home and work beautifully. They also come in self-watering window flower boxes. Perfecto!

This little house is a dream. So neat and cute and beautiful at the same time. You have decorated it with great taste, true to the Italian location and with gorgeous furniture. The kitchen is beautiful, cant wait for the tour!

What a lot of work! Julie has boundless energy!

Gorgeous!!!! Just perfect. I love the multicoloured cushions on the kitchen sofa. Every choice was so well executed, I can't pick a favourite element. Perfecto

Well done, Julie! The place is looking so lovely, elegant, and comfortable! I just have one teeny, tiny idea about the living room. What would you think about reversing the positions of the two wonderful glass-topped tables at either end of the couch? At least from what I can see on the video, the larger square table sticks out just enough that people might feel a bit of a risk - even if it's subconscious - of bumping their knee on that metal corner as they're coming down the steps. This could just be me, but I think the smaller round table would create an easier sense of flow as you enter this room. Also - oh god, here I go - what about removing the square painting behind the hat rack and hanging an oval mirror in its place, to match the curving lines of the other pieces on that wall? Thanks so much for asking for our input, and I hope I haven't over-stepped your generous invitation!

Americana, you bring such smiles to my face with your bubbly interactions with others and of course your Italian. I’m getting to like the idea of babble because (1) your sponsorship approach which is like talking to a friend and (2) the fact that you learned to speak Italian by using them. I believe that you really like this product and won’t sponsor it otherwise if it didn’t deliver what was promised. Thank you for another nice video🌹
