The motorcycle in the intro of MAPPA that you are talking about is from Twin Engine. That's their signature intro. Every anime studio needs to do that motorcycle intro if Twin Engine is part or the one producing the anime adaptation.

I recommend the endings for Vinland as well. They are just as good as the ops.

just for the sake of saying so... I think the relationship between Thorfinn and Askeladd is absolutely fascinating. (spoilers) like, the reason Thorfinn follows Askeladd is because he wants revenge. simple enough. and his father's pacifism just got proven wrong, because when Thors used that approach, he literally died in front of Thorfinn. so Thorfinn is angry, and wants to go after Askeladd, but he's six years old. and Askeladd probably doesn't want Thorfinn as a tag along, but he promised Thors that he would leave all his people alive, if Thors would give his life cooperatively. so he can't really kill Thorfinn outright. eventually the arrangement they come to is one where Askeladd mocks Thorfinn for not living up to an adult level of violence, and then he sets these near impossible standards that Thorfinn has to reach before he can earn a duel. plus he keeps moving the goalpost so Thorfinn constantly feels like he's failing, even as his violence is getting more and more brutal. plus, Thorfinn is capable of being shamed because he was the one who got taken hostage, so that Thors had to bargain with his life... so Thorfinn basically will do whatever he's told he has to do, in order to prove that he isn't absolute garbage. and the worst part is that Askeladd had that same arrangement with Olaf when he was a kid. and on top of that, when he met Thors, he felt like he'd found his answer to the legend his mom used to tell, about the hero Artorius. if ever there was gonna be a guy who could fill that role, it would've been Thors. but Askeladd was in a position where he couldn't drop everything and pursue that path, and ended up killing his hero. so what he feels toward Thorfinn is part self identification, which makes Askeladd aware that he's turning out just like Olaf. and part disdain, because Askeladd killed Olaf so much quicker than Thorfinn is managing to even so much as threaten Askeladd. and part remorse for killing Thors. and part guilt for ruining the kid with the way he's leading him into violence and hatred. but also disdain again, because the parts of Thors that Askeladd had admired are absent from Thorfinn entirely. idk, it's a complicated mix of emotional baggage.

Fun fact Vinland saga is actually based on real events of the viking activite in the 11th century obviously its a dramatization but Thorfinn, Thorkell king Canute, Leif Erikson etc. Where all real people. And the major events of Vinland saga are for the most part historically accurate.

The Mangaka (the author which makes the manga) in this regards, the Vinland Saga's author, believe it or not, is against violence/brutality/killing/wars. This anime/manga is truly onto that aspect. Brilliant and yet true to its core!

The motorcyle intro is basically just Twin Engine's (ツインエンジン) Companys intro before every show they produced or made. Its like with Cartoon-Network. Before any show and after a show is done airing there will be a intro for the company's brand thats producing it. So it's not really annoying and is just there to intrduce the animation company that created it.

The last intro was also done by Survive Said The Prophet, the band that did the first one. Both absolute bangers.

Askeladd one of my favorite characters in all of anime.. Such a well written character with so much depth.
  • @kamuyking551
my favorite character is Einar... I know he's only introduced in season 2, but it's absolutely him. but also Thorfinn. but. yeah. I can't say too much about why because if you've only watched a little bit of the second season it'd be spoilers, but just. my favorites make a particular kind of sense to me.

I recommend the openings and endings from March Comes Like a Lion, they are really good and very emotional
  • @hasaznasa

Vinland intros are some of my favourites great video! I wanted ask if you ever reacted to Halacg. She is a renowned Nerdcore artist who recently released an album similar as to how Rustage did. I thought that you would maybe want to have a look at it.

I liked Askeelad we saw him as just a rithless pirate but there was more to him and he was Welsh so hell yeah!
  • @DeltaDrifter2201
the first and fourth are the same band survive said the prophet. Both are amazing and fit the vibe and atmosphere of vinland saga the most. If you haven't seen the entire 2nd season I highly suggest it. Thorfinn's character development is top tier. One of the few most truly GOATED MC's in a series.
  • @DemonFist94
Bro that first opening might be my favorite of all time!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  • @moiwino
In the first season, my fav character has to be Askeladd, hands down lol
  • My fave from s1 (and just in general) is Askeladd, and Thorfinn in s2! Also, idk if I’d recommend this show to someone who’s only into action — the first season has a lot of talking and politics (which I love), and the second season is very slow and methodical in its character development (with very little action in the first half)

Hi, great video! I really enjoy how you actually review what you see instead of just watching the whole thing and being like "yeah, that was good. Okay bye guys" (like a lot of reactors do). Since you recently watched the Naruto Shippuden OPs. I would reccomend reacting to all 12 Boruto Openings. And its a good time to react cosidering the Boruto manga just released its first chapter after the timeskip. Boruto has a bad rep, but I think that most of the openings are actually quite fire, and loads of bangers.
