Still surprised just how hard they nerfed spiky killbot into the ground. It was pretty funny seeing a person fail to dodge the rocket launch and the whole party taking like 10 damage as a result lol

Ngl I can understand that this one is ranked for hard mode, tho if it was normal mode I would’ve gone with Sentient being above King because of the sentient being harder to block while the King has more visual/sound cues for his attacks

tristims guide to bully hardmode: Step 1: grind Bux for item+ (theres like tons of Bux in Bizville, and if you cant find them you can use the ball on the arcade claw machine for the bux finder card) step 2: abuse items such as: bombs. (magnifying glass for the statues as well as glue to really nullify the overall threat) step 3: be good at blocking, forget everything else if you suck at blocking you better hope it one shots For the pit statues! Prep: bring item+ as well as 5 bombs(or storm tea), additionally bring glue and the magnifying glass to lower damage output from the statues Note: bring sp/hp recovery items (youll have 3 slots if you follow the prep section completely) step 1: Use baller baller for the floors 10-13, 15, 17-18/19 (you can use knight for the floor with a porcupine or dynamite it) (or just ball it if you got softener by some luck) step 2: use knight card with tnt start for 14 and 16 against banished knights step 3 (optional) use knight for floor 19 (if you have high sp you can use dynamite) step 4: use glue and magnifying glass, then bomb spam(tea spam) the statues (assuming you brought healing use them as you see fit) (note the apple pie has been removed from shops, you cant use them unless you have some still in your inventory)

This is the first time im actually scared from a statue in game trying to attack you the ost is just menacing

1 question: can you actually fight bosses again in the same save file without joining another party?

I'm sad they nerf kill bot (he used to have 12 hp, idk about damage) I think the reason why they nerf is because some people didn't know about sword toss hence making a "pay to try" boss fight

The sentient statue was a pain, especially for me since I was using baller and could only do 1 damage each turn with it. But I still had dynamite.

I'd swiitch the statue and king placemnets, the statue was the only fight I actually died on, the king fight was just super long for me

idk if my brain wasn’t working but in my first play through I got ANNIHILATED by the banished knight. i died more to it than the sentient statue ☹️
