OK need to correct something: The shiny roll for the shadow Pokemon happens during the FIRST battle IF the shadow Pokemon is sent out (shiny is visible in your party after capturing) And then during the SECOND battle if you didn't capture the shadow Pokemon, the shiny roll happens for the NPC (shiny is visible in-battle) tl;dr the b2b shiny roll happens during different battles, but can still happen 😉 s/o to Oliver_MPK for the clarification

I tend to bring up how I get pokerus almost every time I've played through a game (not from trades) yet have only ever found 1 shiny, and that shiny was trubbish. My luck is so skewed it's comical

I remember getting pokerus in the first few grass patches of Heart Gold on a Sentret last time I played, like 10 minutes in to the game.

I did catch that 1% Salamence, I spent almost an hour searching for Bagon then almost another hour sos chaining for Salamence, was worth it with an adamant nature and 5 perfect IV's it came with. Also Ive had pokemon carrying pokerus in 3 different games. Emerald, White, and Shield. So I'd say I've had pretty good chances with that, but I never knew it was that small of a chance lol. And I enjoyed hearing all these big numbers, I started laughing "But you know whats even rarer?" "But you know what's EVEN rarer!?" XD

Based on how RNGs work, some of these are literally impossible (eg. perfect shiny Spinda horde). It's possible that ONE of them could be shiny and have perfect IVs, but not all five.

Fun fact: there was a glitch that let you encounter ho-oh and lugia in mirage island but the chances of encountering them and having this glitch were about 1to 3billion

You missed my mate trying to get an Elekid from the egg in Crystal....he’s had so many shinys but NO ELEKID 😂

7:50 I caught chancey in fire red by saving right before I found one itt took me around 150 times to catch by loading and loading again. Lol
