"Is Fury good?" Lol I feel that. I've been a B&M hater forever but Fury just doesn't feel like any other B&M. It's actually forceful and chaotic, which is still wild to me a week later. Still, any RMC is more forceful / has stronger airtime.
  • Do not underestimate Fury: it’s easily one of the most intense B&Ms out there. It also gets the award for “most fun ride”, or at least that’s what I think
  • @JJJJ-he8bz
Fury definitely fooled me. It doesn’t look like it’s going that fast but it feels like your on an air craft carrier low to the ground those turns might not look like much but when your going 95 mph even the most basic elements are intense.

Lightning Race is a lot of fun when it’s warmed up with full trains! I rode both sides at night and the trains were full and it was fun battling the other train throughout the layout. Maybe the footage Hersheypark took of it the day of filming it was first day in the morning, or it’s just the way I remember it, but I had a blast on it!

Hot take- dollywood's coasters are just ok except lighting rod... I really enjoyed my time there but was not blown away by really any of them
  • @DuecePiece
Fury is every bit world-class, you owe it to yourself to get your butt down to Carowinds and marathon that beauty! It's breathtaking and intense as hell yet as re-rideable over just about anything I've ridden, it's that good! 👍🤘🔥
  • Fury is absolutely amazing. I don't have a ton of credits, and carowinds is my home park so maybe I'm a bit biased. That being said, Fury doesn't just focus on speed and gracefulness- it has some incredibly intense moments and is packed with airtime even outside the ejector hills at the end. The treble clef throws some incredible positive g's at you before giving one of the greatest lateral airtime moments ever (if you aren't stapled). Don't underestimate it, I really hope you get a chance to get to carowinds and experience it for yourself. Great video btw! I hope to see more hot take vids in the future.
  • Fury is very very good. Doesn’t feel like any other BnM. It’s another airtime machine but in a league of its own when it comes to that type of ride. It just is.

Hot take: RMC Top Thrill Dragster. Considering it’s doing nothing currently, I would really like to see this happen. :) Just leave the steel structure and put some wooden track on there and done! Definitely a top 10 coaster for sure…
  • I feel like high speed turns are the one thing besides airtime most enthusiasts base their thoughts on a ride off of.
  • Fury is really good. What is honestly surprising about Fury is that you get small moments of floater on the transitions in and out of the turns. I think this is related to the wing seats on the train having some rotational momentum, which is technically using centrifugal force on those transitions from curve to curve to drop the seats on one side of the train (something that Millie isn't going to get with 2-across seating). But yeah, it has airtime in moments you don't expect whilst it's moving at a blistering pace. Honestly the first out section to the treble-clef is better than the airtime hill sections on the second half of the ride, because you are moving so quick, getting quick pops of floater where there really shouldn't be any between the positives and high speed, and then it all builds up to a long moment of sideways floater where you drop under a bridge. Yeah, Fury is good, and I personally prefer it (slightly) to Twisted Timbers.
  • @breew1702
I’ve rode both Fury and Twisted Timbers and Fury is by far the better ride. It has my favorite drop, the floater is good, the pacing is perfect, and you just feel so badass on it. The overall experience of Fury is just phenomenal. It’s just a damn near perfect ride. Twisted timbers is also amazing but it isn’t even close to being as good.
  • Man, I absolutely LOVE your delivery in these videos. I am always cracking up. Always thought provoking as well. Keep doing your thing Coastoons.
  • @maincoasters
they could be more motivated to relocate gold strike just from the cost of wood and carowinds need a modern woodie
  • I really like these hot takes videoes because I sure learn a lot about rides I haven't heard that much about and it's nice to always be able to follow along even if you miss something and don't notice it because you're real tired and just wanna relax and watch Coeastoons with the slight expectation of falling asleep at some point I sure hope to see some more hot takes in the future!🔥

for me i prefer lightning racer because it’s extremely fast and fun for me, but however hershey is my home park so i commonly go with friends and race them on it so it’s naturally gonna be higher for me, also comet always gets a huge line where there’s rarely any on lighting racer
