The thing that throws me is why didn't Batman just get the doctor's notes and recreate the drug in the batcave? Batman is very capable of doing that.
  • He stopped feeling the withdrawals as soon as he got there and knew his dope was in range.. if you’ve ever been an addict you’d know.

Arguably, one of the greatest Batman stories ever.
  • Great story! To me, the fact that the villains weren't metas, but just regular guys makes them more evil.
  • " Don't you know who I am? I'm your pusherman. Yeah, baby... I'm your pusherman..." Curtis Mayfield, Superfly.

You'll feel good, but you'll always be chasing that dragon.
  • Timmy just became that one boss from Wolfenstein “GUTEN TAG BATMAN!!!”
  • With Batman's knowledge of chemistry, he could have synthesize his own version of venom...or hire someone to do it so Lucius Fox wouldn't find out.

Legends of the Dark Knight was one of the greatest comic book titles in history.
  • Dennis O’Neill also pulled duty’s on “Batman Odyssey” in the late 90’s to mid 2000’s. The man I’d good!

If anyone could be forgiven for using steroids, its Batman.
  • The way You tell these stories is second to none. This Channel is criminally Underrated! Please keep it Up Sir!!!
  • This comic was pretty much the precursor to what would be seen in knightfall
  • “Like it goes with most stories about addiction, he doesn’t care about the things he used to anymore.” Yeah… so, one of the main reasons I got sober and was able to stay sober was to think of all the things I enjoyed doing before I started using. I bought a Nintendo switch and a 1TB micro SD card (not all at once mind you) and loaded it up with games. Well, that’s one of the things I did (pretty much did a lot of the same with other hobbies). Initially I wasn’t enjoying playing video games as much as I used to. I set a time to play them and set goals like getting this game or getting that far in this other game and so on. And got past the part where doing a hobby I used to enjoy a lot felt like work and was just fun and interesting again. Then got to a point where I don’t remember the last time I thought about using. Like it used to be when I thought about it I would play video games, piano, skating, or one of my hobbies from before I was doing this stuff and keep doing said hobby until I stopped thinking about using. Now I’m just enjoying my hobbies and can’t recall rhe last time I thought about previous addictions.
  • Great story (with some wild turns) and video. When I read the Venom story years ago, my first thought was Batman could reverse engineer the drug and make his own venom…but the Legends of the Dark Knight series is set early on in Batman’s career, so perhaps he wasn’t capable of that yet. The cover to issue 18 is a classic by JLGL.
  • lol love that story “about the woman who lifted a car for her child” 😂😂 one of my favorite urban legends that nobody can cite bc it’s absolutely made up
