  • Doesn’t matter who people vote for All elected officials are owned and controlled by the richest people and all corporations
  • @gavinspiby8304
    Don’t forget this isn’t just a U.K. problem It’s across the world 🌍

I do everything according to price.....so does everyone else. If enjoyment was my number one concern, I wouldnt be working 60 hours a week.
  • I work full time I have a support dog for my anxiety but there are most days I go without food or very little food because I rather my dog not go hungry it’s been really hard I’m in tears most days when I find my bills or rent is going up im so exhausted and tired I wish this suffering would end 😢

I agree, I'm on potatos, noodles and beans. I work full time

Me too..... I eat ordinary steak, not Wagyu or Kobe beef..... and don't have an iPad, football club membership, pedigree dog, two cars.... I need to get a GoFundMe page started😢

Blaming part of inflation on "Russia invading Ukraine" Why not say because our leaders chose to stop buying cheap Russian oil and gas.

They look better off than I am and I work horrible ungodly hours. I am not against them, I am against the ruling class.
  • Food prices wont come down ever, the private companies are now charging more for goods that go to the wholesaler, that go to the private companies that go to the consumer, we have ruined our market in terms of that are GBP is officially worth less.

Same in Canada. My grocery habits changed DRAMATICALLY. She said it. I also cannot shop with enjoyment in mind. The price will guide what I am gonna eat during the week. 100% of the time I only buy meat, cheese when they're on sale. I frantically look all over the store for discounted/close to expire items to have access to items I could indulge before without spending simply TOO MUCH. I am an avid flyer reader now. Also, there was a DEEP, DEEP cut on amounts as well. Stocking food? Not possible anymore.

I wish people could STOP judging Sir Keir Starmer on his personality, look at Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Thatcher, Tony Blair. Look how their Leadership ended. Starmer is NOT a CLOWN or a Reality TV personality- WE NEED SERIOUS people to Govern this Country. NOT A SHOWMAN!!!
  • I have a budget of 300 a month for food. I've had that for 4 years. I eat a lot less today than i did 4 years ago.
  • @MackerelCat
I have always had to eat according to price not enjoyment. The only reason I’m such a good cook is because I’ve never been able to afford to go out to restaurants. Apparently tho it is only newsworthy now that it is impacting middle income people. We can ignore the poor and low income people tho for 14 years.

All the supermarkets meet up with the department of food & fisheries. They price fix. The government are culpable and involved in this.
  • @lorebrown5307
They should turn the U.K into a giant food forest. They have a temperate climate and could grow food all year round. The Russians grow a huge percentage of their own food in a worse climate
  • He walks incredibly quickly and with ease for a disabled person and yes I do know about severe disability, I know first hand.

People in the UK need to be more assertive when it comes to politics. Being passive and complaining won't change things. We are being walked all over by rich politicians who are out of touch with everyday struggles of the people. Things are and living is expensive. The cost of living crisis doesn't affect the politicians. It affects us the people. Wake up and act people.
