Orange Marmalade Glazed Christmas Ham - How To Make

Published 2017-12-07
Erin prepares her Orange Marmalade Glazed Christmas Ham.

The holiday dinner table wouldn't be complete without the holiday ham and with this brand new recipe you can leave your guests yearning for more.

For best results try to find a local farmer and purchase farm raised ham directly from the producer.

Recipe:
8 ounces of Orange Marmalade
1 cup of brown sugar.
¼ c Dijon mustard
¼ c whole grain mustard
3 garlic gloves grated
2 oranges zested
Juice from 1 orange
Pinch of kosher salt
Mix it all together and pour on ham reserving some for additional glazing.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes per pound for a fully precooked ham. Or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.
Every 30 minutes reglaze.
When done, let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Just wanted to thank you for this recipe! As my daughter has Celiac Disease I omitted the whole grain mustard, but the rest of the ingredients combined ...wow what a taste!
  • @drmckinley
I also use orange marmalade. Really great flavor.

I'm really enjoying the new way you're doing the Introduction. Getting a preview of what's coming in the episode is cool, and you still tie it together with the shot of the Gator driving away from the channel title. Excellent touch, and if its not too much work I'd like to see it continue.
  • Made it for Thanksgiving and making it again for Christmas. Thanks for the recipe...😋😋😋

I need to try that. If it tastes half as good as it looks it will be amazing.
  • I've never had orange marmalade before but I think I'll try it.   Yesterday I made a roast for a 4-H awards night supper and I cooked it for 9hrs and got it to medium rare and it was as tender as can be, and the best part is I can cook these kind of things while I'm out feeding cows.

Looks delicious, I cannot wait to try that recipe, we are one of the old school folks that usually clove our ham, but next one is going to be your recipe!

Wow, that sounds and looks wonderful. I wish my oranges had survived Irma, or I'd make that with my own oranges. Thanks for the recipe, I've added it to the file and next time I'm out at the farmer's market I'll snag me some oranges (if there are any to be had) and a fresh ham to give that a spin with.

While the ham looked good... I was amazed by the rotating Christmas tree.... never saw that before. Does that mean you can have a stationary train under it?
  • Great looking ham, awesome video Erin, only one complaint there seems to be an electrical buzz in the audio for me, it was not in the intro clip.
