My dad suddenly passed away last week. Been listening to Porter Robinson "Look at the Sky" on repeat ever since. This new song of his, "Trying to feel Alive" hits hard but in an uplifting way. Thank you Porter. ❤

Trying to feel alive, feels like the end credits to a movie, where the protagonist is finally at peace with themselves, after overcoming their personal struggles. I also like how we hear his real voice I'm this song - it's like he finally doesn't have to hide behind mask anymore.

and Porter finished this album with his own voice, without a pitch corrector, it's so beautiful, really, as if everything was going towards this, an incredible sense of completeness, and his voice sounds so warm and kind, thanks God for Porter, I seemed to have been waiting for this album all my life, I am so happy listening to this
