A friend of mine showed me this game since Daniel Ingram was one of the composers for the project, and as a Horse Enthusiast I gave it a shot. Big fan of his work here. I wanted to create something authentic to the limitations of the original NES hardware (+VRC6 expansion), and this is what I came up with!

A custom midi from Supreme Midi ( www.supreme-network.com/midis/ ) and a midi from Darkspeen Shore ( youtube.com/user/MajorasMaskocarina1 ) were referenced during the creation of this cover, however, I made many of my own corrections to the final arrangement, as well as making judgement calls on shifting things around to suit the tone of the final production.


Visualization software is Sidwiz Plus. Background image and thumbnail were created by taking the original song cover art, limiting the color to what the NES is capable of producing, and applying a series of filters to achieve a facsimile of said image being piped through a CRT TV.
