Hearts of Iron 4 is a grand strategy game where players take command of any nation in World War II. From the heart of the battlefield to the command center, you will guide your nation to glory and wage war, negotiate or invade. You hold the power to tip the very balance of WWII. It is time to show your ability as the greatest military leader in the world. Will you relive or change history? Will you change the fate of the world by achieving victory at all costs?

yeah Byzantium and Ottoman Empire's recore decisions are very problematic. Mostly you have to ally with Axis but big chunk of cores requires Albania or Dodecaniesse. wish they add options purchase this land from Italy or can form/recore land if you are in the same faction with Italy.

The reason Byzantium is not monarchist is that the King of Greece was German, and thus was considered to have no claim on Constantinople or Byzantium as a concept.
  • @user-qe8tr4wi9x
Cool fun fact! With reviving Byzantium all the Turkish cities not only Constantinople are renamed into greek
  • @emiloster2454
The new flag at the end looked stunning! Kinda looks like Sweden + Finland haha 😂
  • Ah yeah, that's a thing with Venizelos (the Democratic leader that you got at the beginning): he can die at any given time. It is possible to obtain him, unpause the game, and then he dies... or it is possible to have him well into the 1940's... It's pure luck. Great video! I might try this for myself.

If I remember correctly, the reason the Greece tree, especially Byzantium, is so disliked is because it eas basically a outsourced job and can be glitchy. It's not a very good tree compared to most any other, a rework would be nice. Also some things you should core, you arent able to. It would be cool for there to be an option to stab the axis in the back and reclaim the whole empire and reform the dual empire of Rome with a western Roman puppet.

Byzantium path is hard for me , but not for Florius + Respect for Dr Livsey from Russia
  • @MedCat9
I keep wondering how you manage it. Winning in this game no matter what I do I always lose I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Keep it up
  • One big piece of advise as a guy who loves playing Greece, go right side economy as soon as possible and try to get 13 offmap civs by improving relationships and doing the focus Bedrock of Balkan Financial Stability. They just help so much.
  • @specter183
That was some super rough rng for Venezolos, suprised you didnt reset the run. Great video as always! ❤
  • I think its quite odd you didn't know much about the Greek tree, I've done Byzantium dosens of time and you seem very knowledgeable about hearts of iron. Loved seeing you exploring the tree and how you're figuring everything out though

35 Width is the best all-round big division but requires you to get to an uneven number. 36 is slightly worse width-wise, but also slightly bigger and even.

I Open youtube, i See florius uploads, i watch, i am happy, Im a simple man😂
  • @i.s.l.988
    Walluigi, emperor of the byzantium
  • @jylehansen7328
When i first saw you could form byzantium i was straight on that, i had only played 100 hours and it was so painful. Gonna give this another shot
  • There is a mod called 'En Unión y Libertad’ if you ever want to play a south american nation, that’s your mod lad
  • You really were unlucky, since Elefterio Venizelos can last anywhere from 1936 to late 1939, so you got it like a month, but he's amazing for non war politics
  • Very interesting video! Still trying to do it myself, but I can’t manage to beat the Turkish. I get them up to 400k losses by encirclement but I can’t break through to Istanbul :(
  • Victoria 3 HRE video? Feels like it’d be absurdly powerful but also sounds like an absurd pain to make.
