  • SECOND SEASON: https://youtu.be/baHT2nR5Wr4 A few notes: - We have previously covered some of these battles, but the videos have been outdated graphically and we wanted to present a more clear picture. More battles added, while the research is improved. There will be 2 more episodes covering the expansion of the early Muslim state, and these 2 videos will cover events in North Africa, Iran, Central Asia, Spain, France, and Anatolia among others. - Most of the primary sources of this period are Muslim, but they are largely corroborated by the later Byzantine and Iranian sources. - Speaking of the Byzantines. We used "Romans" and "Byzantines" interchangeably throughout the video. Some people will not like this, but the words are there to convey meaning and if the meaning is communicated, then we are doing ok. - Chill.
  • Khalid Ibn Walid is like that fantasy character who never loses a battle and wins a 100 battle, except that he's real
  • @emreinan7749
Other arab generals:"Oh no we are outnumbered 3 to 1! What shall we do?!?" Khalid answering:"We send one cavalry unit to make sure that the enemy cant flee!"
  • You will face those men who loves death as you loves your lives. - Khalid ibn al Waleed 🗡️
  • Correction: there were a 2 reasons on why Omar relieved Khalid from commanding the Army: 1) A lot of the muslim soldiers started to get the impression that Khalid must be there in order for them to win. Omar wanted to remove this illusion from their heads for their own sake. 2) Khalid wanted to make fast decisions based on his own judgment (Abu Baker granted Khalid the freedom to do so) but Omar wanted to oversee any major movement because he was too careful about Rules of engagements especially after receiving complains from the tribes about Khalid as you mentioned and Omar is known for taking complains seriously and questioning the Commanders, Governors and Businessmen about their Ethics to prevent corruption. Even though Khalid is a righteous man but Omar still does’t like operating in the grey area. Omar’s Nickname is “Al Farouq” which means the one who distinguish between Right and Wrong in even the tiniest situations. Theres was absolutely no animosity between them, just a disagreement.

If history taught me a thing, it would be.. - Do not invade russia in winter. - Do not challange an arab in a sword duel.
  • @jpweek5885
This video should be titled, "Their army was destroyed but Khalid lost just a few hundred troops"
  • @undajaya1692
38:18 Even the mortal enemies (Romans and Persians) who had been at war with each other for more than half millennium, had to cooperate against the Islamic caliphate. Even then they still lost against Khalid, the sword of Allah.
  • It is amazing how small Arab armies defeated two great empires, the Roman and the Sassanid Empires
  • @signalhd9793
Army: 'surrounds the Muslim Army.' Khalid: "I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me!"
  • @amsn7240
Can we appreciate that they remake a ton of their old videos instead of just leaving them honestly this is amazing dedication.
  • @aasemkhalid3685
Romans: we have a Persians problem Persians: we have a Romans problem Khalid Ibn Alwalid: I can solve all your problems

1.8 billion Muslims owe to these brave men who sacrificed everything to spread this religion..may Allah have mercy on them
  • @Ali.shdifat
Fun fact: Khalid Ibn Al-Walid was never defeated his whole life, even when he fought against Muslims before becoming one! An absolute genius military leader.
  • @FRD52
“I have fought in so many battles seeking martyrdom that there is no spot in my body left without a scar or a wound made by a spear or sword. And yet here I am, dying on my bed like an old camel. May the eyes of the cowards never rest” Khalid Ibn Alwaleed
  • @ahmedsalman3726
The most fascinating about Khaled is that he came from desert land and never went to war college or study tactics in school, he was born as great general
  • @linkon9828
When Muslims were very few in numbers and were facing an attack from Meccans, Muhammad (pbuh) prophesized that the key to Yemen, Persia, Rome was given to him. He also prophesized that Muslims will conquer Egypt. And all of it were conquered by Muslims within just a span of few years.
  • @qaishasan
“No place in my body is without marks or scars , i have fought hundreds of battles and I’m dying like this ?? On my bed? Khalid ibn alwalid
  • @itsame2271
"I've fought in a hundred battles or so, there isn’t an inch of my body that didn’t get hit by a sword, stabbed by a spear, or shot by an arrow. And here I am, unwillingly dying on my bed like animals. May the eyes of cowards never sleep." -Khaled ibn al-Waleed
