    My first class at Pasadena City College was Latin. On the first day a woman in my class hollered "yeah!" In response to my Black Flag shirt. I had no idea who she was. Two weeks after the end of the semester I went to a show of photography documenting the early LA punk scene. In a photo of the Gogos I recognized my classmate! It was the Bass player Kathy Valentine!

    I graduated from high school with Gina Schock, the drummer, from the Go Go's. She was a total rebel in school. We went to an all girl high school. Talk about fun with Gina. She did everything against the rules. Lol.

    47 now and watching this makes me cry. Such happy carefree times. Life will never be like that again. This brought me right back to those wonderful 80s when music was great and everyone wasn’t tied to a phone and social media.

    Watching this today as Terry Hall has sadly passed away. Great song. Jane Wiedlin has said in tribute, “Our extremely brief romance resulted in the song Our Lips Are Sealed, which will forever tie us together in music history."

    THE FEELINGS THAT COME FROM WATCHING THIS ARE ALMOST TANGIBLE! The smells, the vibe, just the culture here in Southern California will NEVER BE THE SAME, but listening to this is sometimes overwhelming! I LOVE THE GO GO’S!
