Wondering what the property reassessment values will do to your taxes on your Coastal Maryland and Delaware property? I break down in this video what property value reassessments are, how its calculated and I estimate a real property in Ocean City, MD for a client that I helped purchase back in 2018. This may help you get a grasp of what your property taxes may look like in the next 3 years as they phase in the new values. I do go over some information with Sussex County Delaware and its hard to say how they will come up with their values and property tax amounts as they haven't reassessed property values for decades. I'll keep you up to date when they come out!

Thanks for watching! Some key dates from the Maryland tax letters are February 12th 2024- Last day to appeal your value if you think its not correct. July 1st 2024 is when the new tax amounts are updated and sent out.

With the revaluation of DE taxes, do you expect costal DE residents to see property taxes to get as high as Maryland's?
