This was literally the most amazing show I've seen of Mary Poppins. Congratulations on your nominee too! You're all so talented and deserve it. Our school is doing this play this year and I couldn't be any more excited after watching this
  • This my friends, is what happens when the arts get as much funding as sports.
  • I practically forgot this was a HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION!! Such an incredible collection of kids bringing a classic story to life! The girl who played Mary Poppins was incredible!

I'm pleased to say that Sean McManus, who plays Bert here, made his Broadway debut the night of June 15, 2022 in the ensemble of "Beetlejuice" on Broadway, at the Marquis Theatre.

as a british person I find this simultaneously hilarious and amazing

That guy who played Bert is a STAR!!! And the young lady playing Mary Poppins is also incredible!!! How are they not professionals?
  • @PrincessLydia
Bert is ADORABLE in the opening number! This whole production is amazing, and Bert NAILS the accent.

Catie Floegel is amazing as Winifred Banks! Her voice, the look, every gesture, ... Embodies the whole character perfectly in my opinion!

The entire cast performed beautifully, but the young man who played Bert is amazing. His portrayal of Bert, who ties the entire story together, is charming. What stage presence, a joy to watch! This young man is immensely talented.

Why does no one cheer for George? He's such an important character. When I played him I got a lot of cheers, yet none for him? This guy did such a phenomenal job!

The girl who played Mary Poppins was amazing! It was hard to believe this was high school, everyone was so great in their performances. :)
  • Is this really a high school?? I mean really, any of these guys could get full ride theatre scholarships for collegiate theatre! Very mature and professional work guys!! This is a production to actually be proud to look back on. Bravo!
  • While the actors and actresses were absolutely incredible, don’t get me wrong, the tech crew did an amazing job. The set was easily interchangeable and fit the scene greatly. They really made sure that it would work with the blocking and choreography. Costume and makeup was also phenomenal. Also, let’s not forget those who work the lights and sound. The show would not come together and seem so professional without that. Tech is often forgotten, and without them the show just wouldn’t be as well put together and professional. I hope to be competing in a technical category next year, and this has really gotten me thinking about more than looks when it comes to costume: is it functional for what’s happening in the scene? Does it fit the character and their emotions at the time? Will they be able to change in between scenes? I thank the tech who make everything work behind the curtains. God knows what (extra) chaos would ensue without them. (‘Cause let’s be honest it’s always chaotic in theatre, tech or no tech 😂)

    Hello! Here you will find every sung song within "Marry Poppins: The Broadway Musical" and their time stamps! This production used the "Libretto Vocal Book" from Music Theatre International. Next to each timestamp is the number and name of each song within the book. Whether you are a school production, or a theatre company, I assure you that this will help a LOT during rehearsal. HAPPY ACTING! :) 1:30 #01 - Prologue 4:30 #02 - Cherry Tree Lane (Part 1) 7:38 #03 - The Perfect Nanny 9:18 #04 - Cherry Tree Lane (Part 2) 14:53 #5 - Practically Perfect 18:50 #05a - All Me Own Work 21:50 #06 - Jolly Holiday 33:03 #07 - Let's Hope She Will Stay 35:14 #07a - Winds Do Change 40:48 #08 - A Spoonful of Sugar 44:14 #08a - Spoonful (Playoff) 45:53 #09 - Precision and Order 50:56 #09a - A Man Has Dreams 52:33 #10 - Feed the Birds 1:00:48 #11 - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 1:05:28 #11a - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Reprise) 1:07:58 #11a - The Winds May Blow 1:11:02 #11b - Twists and Turns 1:12:56 #12 - Playing the Game 1:17:20 #13 - Chim Chim Cher-ee 1:23:25 #14 - Cherry Tree Lane (Reprise) 1:27:05 #15 - Brimstone and Treacle (Part 1) 1:32:45 #16 - Let's Go Fly a Kite 1:38:40 #17 - Good for Nothing 1:39:25 #17 - Being Mrs. Banks 1:32:35 #18 - Brimstone and Treacle (Part 2) 1:39:35 #18a Practically Perfect (Reprise) 1:51:00 #19 - Step in Time 2:00:00 #19a - Down the Chimney 2:04:10 #20 - A Man Has Dreams (Reprise) 2:05:50 #20 - A Spoonful of Sugar (Reprise) 2:10:20 #21 - Anything Can Happen (Part 1) 2:15:00 #21a - Give Us the Word 2:17:10 #22 - Anything Can Happen (Part 2) 2:22:25 #23 - A Spoonful of Sugar (Reprise) 2:27:55 #24 - Bows
  • Bert and Mary had the best chemistry I've seen between two actors in a long time.
