The missing persons department is closed on weekends?? What a JOKE.

In less than 24 hrs the police put a missing persons alert, not for Mia, but for Armando....
  • That security guard Jay is a man of absolute integrity. He deserves our respect.

“Overhearing” the address and deciding to follow him after police ignored everyone was a 200iq move, shoutout to the Aunt, a real MVP.

Very smart girl. She had all the receipts and kept her family in the loop. Smart.

He didn’t plan on her family being so close, so sharp and so ON POINT. Beautiful family I’m so sorry for their loss. I bet she’s proud of them though.

I can’t believe you covered this story. Miya is one of my childhood bestfriends. I watch this channel religiously and when I saw the picture of marlon sr (miyas dad) my heart sank. I had been hoping one of these big true crime channels would cover her case. I’m so happy that you made this video. I’m hoping her story gets the coverage it deserves. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
  • Mia was so smart to include her friends and family in whatever was going on in her life. Most young people don’t like having others in their business. This story actually shows just how important it is to let someone close to you know what’s going on in your life in case you need help!

If yall go missing, make sure you do it Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm, and not on holidays.

The level of incompetence shown by the police department is staggering. If a security guard is conducting a better investigation than the police, then the department needs an overhaul.

My friend's beautiful daughter in Tampa was brutally assaulted and murdered by a maintenance man for the complex where she lived. The maintenance man had a disturbing criminal history that his employer ignored. I referred the case to a friend who had handled those sorts of cases and the owners kept transferring the deed and avoiding service of the lawsuit. They were like cockroaches scattering to hide. He finally got someone served and collected a settlement for the family. The perp eventually gave a blood-curdling confession about what occurred during the assault and murder and avoided the death penalty by entering a guilty plea. He knew she was going to be alone and vulnerable when he went for a repair call that had been planned and was not an emergency. You have to be hypervigilant if you are a young woman/person living alone, as predators are everywhere.
  • This is so incredibly sad! No means no! Leave people alone when they clearly do not want to be bothered. May this young lady rest in peace.
