  • Now I understand why you told me to wait and watch on your sprints! I have the same problem, the original mid-year freak-out tag isn't made for me. I rarely read new releases and a good portion of my reads are classics, I always felt like that tag was created for people who read romantasy and/or keep up with the latest releases. I loved this video, Nicole! I can't wait to do it next year lol I love these prompts.

You're going to love Sholokhov - I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! And I'm glad you did this edition of the tag!

I have a copy of Phantom Tollbooth. I was talking to a classmate. We are thinking that maybe that we read it in elementary school. Oops I just aged myself. Absolutely loving Praiseworthy.

Nice twist on the tag! I enjoyed your answers and I love that you made it your own. I haven’t read any of the books you mentioned, but I put The Phantom Toolbooth on my TBR. 😊 Hope the second part of the year is even better!
  • Aaaah I wish I had seen this/you had posted this just 2 days sooner cause I JUST posted my own mid year freak out post on IG and I like the updated version so much better! Next year! 😂

I recamped the Midyear to fit me this year as well. I feel its made for fantasy and romance readers, so I like that you did this! Hopefully I will get mine filmed soon as the first three days of the month have been super hectic! Ugh!
  • I got into booktube a year and a half ago. Last summer I devoured every midyear freakout tag video I could find. I really identified with the prompts. I would answer in my head with my responses as I heard the other people’s thoughts. This year I just haven’t clicked with the tag. I don’t buy many new releases or pay attention to what’s coming out soon. I get most of my books used and have been focusing on reading older books in 2024. Some are recognized as classics while others are merely old.
  • @theresas709
I would describe your favorite book cover as disturbing. 🤣 I am glad you like it.

Nice job giving classics some cred! When do you plan to read Our Mutual Friend? I'm reading it for Katie's read a long either later this month or next month. Can't wait to hear what you think of To the Bright Edge of the World!
