From the sound of your message, I suspect either the social media police have given you warnings or you know enough about what's going on with them to keep your messages cryptic. Your message is spot on! I spent the first 2 weeks recovering from my knee replacement watching hours and hours of utube videos on our gov't ineptitude about everything, and worldwide news! The last few days I switched to gardening, canning, quilting, etc, just to give my brain and body some healing time! This coming week will begin the serious job of taking inventory of preps and getting the freezers canned up and ready for replenishing. This time around we all need to plan on having more than just a year's supply of toilet paper!😂😂 Keep your inspirational messages and videos coming! I'm sure they are a blessing as well as an important reminder to many. Our world is changing faster than we ever thought possible! Hugs from🇺🇸😎🇨🇦

All true, Toni. I have believed we were in a recession for a few years now. And now that they are admitting to a recession, it tells me we have moved into a depression. If hubby can keep his job, we will be okay even if things get tight. But if not, life will get ugly quick. Hard times are here for many. 😔

Some of us are very fortunate, being of a certain age, we are basically only a generation away from the last depression. So we probably would have heard stories from our parents about what they went through. But it still is not too late to take the time to watch some videos about the Depression years, even the Grapes of Wrath has lessons for us. "If you don't learn from history, you are bound to repeat it," as the old saying goes.

Love your videos, Toni. I have a lot of comments to make, but better keep them to myself and just keep praying.

We’re in a Depression right now in the USA..some people truly believe in what the numbers say as in the unemployment numbers..I feel for the ones that believe whatever they are told instead of opening their eyes because it’s everywhere the inflation.. My bills are up by over $600 a month with absolutely no changes to my household except we did get rid of satellite tv -WE should have seen a $126 increase in money each month instead got notice that our electric company raised its rates by 46% so what should have been ahead by that amount we now are negative the $126 plus another $30 on top of that this was back on Sept of 2022…I read the electric company wants to raise its rates by another 16% ….and now another $154 a month for land and school tax more in our mortgage payment each month. Right there is over $300 increases so I’m probably off by a hundred more in increase monthly it just depends on each month because we never know if another increase is coming. .I worry about 2-of my sons..one has a house in California (wife and 3-kids under age of 5) and prices just keep going up there -I’m not sure how much longer they can survive the inflation ..my Dil is delusional by thinking they can keep the house and rent it out and move somewhere South and buy another house -one is where is the money going to come from to even buy another home when they are already struggling to stay a float in the home they own now..renting a home to anyone is super risky even if it’s to family..the government can step in again during these troubling times and put freezes on kicking renters out like they did back during Covid..those poor landlords got the screw put to them..I feel for the people too don’t get me wrong but many could have paid rent but didn’t because they didn’t have too. Other son just moved out to rent with his partner and now can’t find a job.

Toni, love your wisdom and I agree 100%. I canned 38 pints and 10 quarts of green beans and new potatoes yesterday. Canned chicken breast before that. My hubby sees things as we do. He bought me 2 vacuum sealers, one for jars and the other for freezer or shelf food. Going as fast as I can 😅. Have a good day and stay safe from you cast iron buddy

We are truly heading for a great depression. Unfortunately, with all the new people, if the stores are empty, they will come for us.

I was googling recession regarding prices...they say prices go down or remain the same....gas usually goes down..but I heard that coffee may double in price due to poor harvests..same with olive oil....the key I guess is to check prices and sales every week at the grocery stores and act accordingly.. if there are good sales....I think this is where our intuition will be important and remain aware...

ECONOMIC COLLAPSE - VENEZUELA In the early 80's is when Venezuela started to experience double digit inflation. Strangely enough, it was under the rule of the democrat party. However, in 1999, the socialists took power, skyrocketing inflation to a mind-numbing 800% by 2016. Since 2014, more than 7 million people have fled Venezuela, with the remainder starving to death, eating family pets, and trading items like bread and water for gasoline. You see, Venezuela was one of the most prosperous countries in South America. They have the 2nd (or third?) largest oil reserves on the planet. So why did they fail so miserably? In a word...socialism...and corruption.
