MikeRod17 recommended your channel, and it was a great recommendation. Audio, video quality, framing, organization of content, the tone of your voice and confidence in your knowledge of the subject are all on point. You'll go far, keep up the good work. <3

I went with the 300i because it has that "camper van" kind of feel. When it's facilities are for more than show, it'll be a great way to just go camping.

Each Star Citizen ship has its own personality, its amazing what the developers achieved.
  • It's a testament to the 300 series rework that these ships could even be compared so closely now. Before the old 300 series didn't hold a candle to the old Avenger much less the new one.

Although I mostly fly my Freelancer DUR, I loved the Avenger Titan so much when I was upgrading my ships that I bought another one. Ok they ain't the best in any category but they are a great jack-of-all-trades and honestly I love flying it. I've gone through most of the available ships one by one and honestly the Titan is still one of my favourites! Every now & then I think about upgrading to something else but it always brings a smile to my face when I fly it. I'd prefer it to have size 2 components mind you since the rework - well at least the shields & power. It's also a little limited in range but on the whole I'd wouldn't swap it for the 300i. One of the things I really loved about the Avenger series is the lifting body look of the old 60's/70's x-planes. Sure it's not the most luxurious inside, but it's practical enough and frankly it ain't got the range for long voyages. The DUR could do with an interior rework though - for a long range Pathfinder the interior sucks plus I have no real idea why it would need 5 crew! 3 would be enough - hell make the back turret remote control from the co-pilot seat & 2 crew would be fine and you could lose 2 bunks for a seat/table or whatever.

You forgot the most important metric: How much does it resemble a penguin?

Wish the Avenger had a dropship variant maybe in black. It always looked like a sleek drop shuttle to me and less of a fighter. Though you can still cram a strike team in back it should be fun when we can customize it.

I have them both and prefer the 300 series. It may not be quite as good but like you said, the look and feel matters to some people. I can really get into it when flying around ArcCorp with wine in the back snd that awesome moonroof. 325a is my favorite of all the smaller ships

Thanks you for doing this. This is why I subscribed. I bet that when they start the customization for it being available they will probably address some of the issues you brought up. They are much better at their ship design now compared to what they were several years back. Who knows, the crew area on the FL may come back and the proposed T window in the front. Crazy right?

I'm still ripping my hair out trying to settle on a choice with which to jump into the game. I love the style and visuals of the 300 series as well as it be ever so slightly more nimble and carries more quality of life niceties, but the Titan is more versatile and packs more heat. Impossible decision...
  • Great comparison. This was an excellent video that was enjoyable throughout. Keep up the good work!
  • unbelievable video. I'm about to jump into this game and have been checking out all the ships across various videos on YT. This one was so well done and informative, and looked at all the angles, many I had not considered. Thanks for putting in the work, its appreciated.

My first package, way back in the mists of the past, was the 315P. I still have it. The rework has been good to it. I also have the Avenger Titan. Both great ships. Good job. :)
  • Another great video from LawoftheWest. Comparing anything to a super hornet makes for a solid video as well.

I like this series. Great breakdown in comparing these 2 solid ships Law!

One important "attachment" the Titan (Renegade) needs is a toilet. I heard somewhere that the Stalker cells has a toilet (hopefully). If a toilet (swing out, flip down?) isn't added to the Titan (Renegade), I'll have a cell mounted forward in the cargo bay. That's if I (owner) can enter and especially exit the cell.
