No clickbait, no time wasting, straight to the point and perfect

"my new years resolution is to stop joining servers that will crash my game!"
  • @VeevVeevs
I feel that it would be funnier if you did it 10 seconds earlier because people would have to rejoin and they would probably miss it.

Someone who spend new year's night on a gmod server could'nt do anything else.

Imagine how sad you need to be to spend the new year on gmod.

To think that someone spent their time doing this during the new year makes gamers kind of sad

Building stuff all night so you can do the same the next day, for one week... and finally finish working on your contraption so you can proudly show it to your friends. Or join a server to find someone else's epic contraption you have never seen in your entire playtime and admire how unique it is and the way it was built.... amazing times, I miss them. Uploading a video of someone crashing a server in GMOD is a classic. GMOD had it's time and generation - and the building servers were the peak of what you could have achieved in this game. I am almost sorry for the people who hadn't got the chance to experience this game and to those who say they have experienced it but never built anything. I remember craving to become better at it (gaining more knowledge of using the tools so I can create unseen stuff), but I kinda sucked at using GMOD's (E2, later "lemon gate" tool) - lack of programming skills I thought back then. The game felt like it was impossible to master. Everyone had it's niche, some people were good at building tanks, other drones or mechs, some people were building engines from scratch or sentient like contraptions. This sandbox game really laid the creativity, DIY, problem-solving foundations for many people over the years....including me. As a result, I have graduated as a software engineer a year ago, and I am studying Artificial Intelligence as a continuation. If I come back to it, I could only imagine all the great things that can be built.

I remember crashing one server by dropping like 20-40 atomic bombs on the map somewhere

  • fun fact: my bo2 zombies game just launched the same time the new years went

Gotta love the Griefer Jesus theme

I remember back in the day you could spawn a ragdoll, freeze it, bind all the joints together with elastic bands dozens of times, then unfreeze it. It would crash any server within seconds.

Should've crashed 3 seconds early so they had no sense of joy with their friends
