I still find it funny that after being declined by Adult Swim, Quintel was approached by Cartoon Network and was asked "Hey, we need a new show to fill out some timeslots, have anything?", so then he saw his proposal to AS that went through and thought, "Yeah I can make this work as a kids' show". And then somehow he managed to make it work as a kids' show, surprisingly well in fact.
