As we got the first-ever gold medal in Olympics, I hope this serves as a wake-up call to our GOVERNMENT to build up full support to our Filipino athletes. They don't need the government's congratulatory statements; they need sufficient funds and better sports amenities.

Eversince. Walang supporta Ang gobyerno sa mga atleta natin. Meron noong early 80's pero hindi talaga supportado. Tulad Yung ginawang sports o athletes camp sa Baguio.

In first-world countries, they prioritise the sports where they have the highest chance of winning or where there are athletes who are really going for the medal. Better prioritise than to spread out the funds. Even first-world countries are very critical of their sports funding.
