Encountering a Trapped Kitten on a Hike, Its Helpless Eyes Tug at the Heartstrings

While hiking in the mountains, I heard a kitten's cry. I followed the sound and found a kitten trapped in a trap. It seemed to have been trapped for a long time, with many flies hovering around. I quickly released it from the trap. This kitten looked very thin, probably about a month old. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that both of its front paws were injured, with what seemed to be fly eggs on them. The kitten was crying in pain, it was truly pitiful.
