They have another catchy one called "Surrender". It was used as the theme song for That 70s Show
-
I can't believe this came out in 1977. It always sounded very 80s to me - ahead of its time. Great song!! I'm glad you enjoy it. :)
-
Their catalog is deep, full of radio played hits. Truly under rated band.
-
Robin Zander really shows his beautiful voice on the song The Flame. Robin is so under rated
-
Their "Live in Budokhan" album was a must have back in the seventies. Had my copy.
-
I was 13 years old when this song was released. We Skated to this song and danced to it at School dances and Parties,
-
Something else to mention: Live at Budokan is recognized as a concert where everything came together perfectly and the crowd was INTO IT. At one point you see Rik Nielsen listening for the crowd echo. Amazing!
-
I remenber when this song came out! was 11yo with my Sears tube socks and a tee retro ring shirt of 98 ROCK TAMPA BAYS
-
One of pop rock’s greatest hooks!
-
Cheap Trick is still coming out with original albums, the most recent in 2021. Still good, great even.
-
Very few bands can claim a guaranteed spot on a 20 track list of a decade. They can argue 2.

Sweetie! There is only one band that I've seen live more, and that's Rush. First time that I saw them live was 1981, at 6 Flags over Georgia amusement park. Last, and 12th time was at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. They opened for Cake around 15-20 years ago. Always a great show. They have had Hits for close to 4 decades.
-
Amazing as always!
-
There are no bad Cheap Trick songs. Rick is playing a Les Paul that I have played in Houston. Back then, they wanted $5000 for it. It's now worth about $250,000.
-
I went to school with 3 of them fellas . yeah I'm old. Lol watched them in a garage back in the day.

Great reaction! Saw Cheap Trick in Nov 1990 in Toronto, awesome live! They opened for Heart. Check out some Canadian bands for some fun tunes. You might like some of these: April Wine - Oowatanite (my favourite Canadian band, so hard to pick one to suggest, I keep changing my suggested track. Listen to April Wine - Greatest Hits 🙂 ) Triumph - Lay it on the line Trooper - Boys in the White Sports Car The Headpins - Don't it Make You Feel Martha and the Muffins - Echo Beach Kim Mitchell - Go For a Soda LEE AARON - Whatcha Do To My Body Loverboy - Everybody's Working for the Weekend Platinum Blonde - Crying over You Saga - On the Loose And for something really off the beaten path: Nash the Slash - Dance After Curfew

Cheap Trick is a band that always brought the good times. Just a flat out great party song. Listen to "California Man" and try to stand still. Impossible.
-
Gotta listen to the whole album " Cheap Trick Live at Budokan "....you'll be dancing and motivated having fun! Just like your reaction " it's my life " Bon Jovi "....have fun, enjoy! From west coast Canada 🇨🇦, peace.
-
Rik Neilsen is the single most under-rated guitar player EVER.

Cheap Trick is just Cheap Trick. This will be in my head again for a while. But at least Katie's face is associated with it now. The live album version is the best. You will be singing this for days now.(I will) It is cheesy but it works.... As always thank you for using my suggestions -YourBiggestFan
