Walking in Downtown Palm Springs, CA

We had been to California before, but this was the first time to travel through a desert-like landscape. Nothing but rocks and bushes. Even though it was pretty bare, we found it interesting as we hadn't seen such a landscape yet, other than from far above when traveling by plane.
It was hard to imagine that an oasis would pop up, but it was there. We loved the streets, the palm trees, the flowers, the cactuses, and the hummingbirds. 🌴
It was really lovely to walk downtown.
It was warm, too warm. We couldn't walk much during the day as we became drained after 1-2 hours of walking in that dry heat. It was much less stressful the following morning when the temperature was lower.
We liked Palm Springs; it's a charming city where we would return to spend some more days. 😎
