This is great. Reminds me of when I was a kid and we took this route to our church in Harlem, and where many of our relatives lived. But this was in the 70s, so a lot has changed. As for Fifth Ave., I took this route by bus from Harlem to my job in Midtown. This was great. Let me check out what other videos you've made...

The condition of your roads is extremely poor. I see so much construction equipment everywhere and not a single worker in sight 😮. Love the video though btw. So visual and realistic.

Yeah stuck on 360p for some reason, even though there's a 4K badge on my TV app...hopefully YouTube finishes processing the higher resolutions soon!
  • Grew up in Washington Heights, just a 2 block's from the 155 Viaduct. Remember before the Polo Ground project's were built, from my apartment window facing Edgecomb Ave, I could see first base through the roof of the old Polo Grounds Stadium. Use to ride my bike down the Viaduct over to the Bronx. Never, seen a microwave head bike rider back in a day! Then again "microwave oven's" weren't around! Thank's for the Superb Video!!
  • Beautiful! I can't wait to see Fifth when 2 of the 5 traffic lanes have been closed and landscaped.
