  • I'm a rape savior I did not leave my home for over 4 year's. Then a friend from high school found me on face book. We talked and talked. I heard this song on the first time I. Traveled to his home. In the amazing Utah mountains. It's one of the happiest times in my life. He healed me. I wish I could tell him. He's gone now. The peace I found driving saved my soul, life, happiness. H.O.L.Y. ❤😇❤🙏🙏🙏❤ 2024.
  • I'm a 55 year old man taking care of my 80 year old mother who raised me on country music. For some reason this song has been on my mind lately and to stumble upon this masterpiece was Heaven sent. It brought tears to me my eyes thinking about my Dad and younger sister who have gone to be with the Lord.

Who is listening to it in 2022! Love this rendition to a classic in Country Music. Always takes me home!
  • We should thank John Denver, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton for giving us these great songs!
  • @Technobuilder
This just hits so much harder once you have an appreciation of not only the history behind it all, but also for the artists who made it happen.
  • I'll never forget my vietnam vet buddy that I worked with for years had a stroke and had to get air lifted to the hospital. Bust he wasn't the same after but he was too stubborn and tough to retire. This song came on the radio in the shop and I had a rivet buster in the vise and I was singing and I heard someone else singing. I turned around and he was sitting in a chair and tears were running down his face.

I can't even tell you how happy I was to see Dolly at the end. Good old girl's still got it!

  • I discovered this only today, 7 years later. I'm not a country music fan, but everyone knows these 3 songs... This is amazing. Dolly at the very end made me teary-eyed....
  • Definitely lost it when Randy Travis made an appearance. Kudos to whoever decided that, even though unable to sing, that he be included. Absolute perfection this video is.
  • @CrumleyCindy
I listened to this on CMT the last week of my daughters life as she was dying with ovarian cancer. She loved this song. It will always hold special meaning for me in addition to being a great song!!
