Originally born in Madrid, Spain, I moved to the United Kingdom to teach Spanish and improve my english language skills. Having lived in England for several years I've learned the variations in speech and language of both Spanish and English. I'm a qualified teacher, with experience in private tutoring, and thought it would be great to share my knowledge of language lessons with you all. So please enjoy Spanish with Patry, where you can learn Spanish for free and quickly from an actual Spanish person!

Thank you so much Patry, you’re literally the best Spanish teacher on YouTube for useful daily vocabulary!! I’m hoping that one day my Spanish will be as good as your English 🥰

This is excellent and very useful. I really love that you use more Spanish than English in your explanations, as it helps us learn faster!

I love your videos and they are very informative. I have a Spanish vocabulary of about 20 words. I just spent 3 weeks traveling all over Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, El Escorial, Segovia, San Sebastián, Bilbao, Pamplona, Sevilla, Cádiz, Malaga, Granada, Valladolid). Between those 20 words, my google translator and English I had no problem checking into hotels, ordering at restaurants, taxi and train rides, renting cars, and buying stuff. If you use just a few Spanish words (Hola, Buenos, Gracias, muy buena, etc) people were very nice and accommodating. You don’t need to speak fluent Spanish to enjoy a trip to Spain.

Very helpful, thank you! If you could do something like this for banking in Spanish, it would be great!!!

Gracias, Patry. Your videos are the best! My wife and I are visiting Barcelona and Madrid in October 2024 and are watching your excellent videos to brush up on our Spanish. While we do speak some Spanish (we're from Texas), it's still a little intimidating to try to use it in Spain. Your videos are especially helpful in communicating with servers in restaurants and bars, hotel staff, museums, etc. We want to speak Spanish exclusively, if possible, and rely on English as a backup as needed.

This was fantastic; to have everything collected in one video! For me, I pretty much know the words (?) but I get insecure about those little words. A, por, de... Like: Algo que ver [not algo a / para ver], por la zona [not en la zona], cambiar de habitación... Also, 'Quiero hablar con el gerente', veeery useful.. 😄With customer services (on the phone, banks and such), when sth is impossible - until you ask to speak to the manager! Also: ¡Me encanta mucho tus videos! 😘
