Thank YOU !!! For the tip of adding relays. Like you, I installed one of these units that lasted about a month. (not Compustar) I suspect it failed for the same reason as yours. Anyone who understands basic automotive wiring, and current draw, will know the benefit of the added relays. Anyone who doesn't, probably should not be installing this unit anyway, Thank You Again !!
  • I was so amped to see you uploaded a new video, good shit robbieray can't wait to see more videos 🤘
  • You really know what you're doing, I wish we were neighbors, I'd probably ask you a ton of questions. I bought a 2003 impala and I'm in the process of getting it street worthy. We're having to downsize because of covid, so my girlfriend went from having a 2019 Jeep with electric start, to this 2003 impala without electric start. I'd like to install this on the impala but I've never installed one before. It's fairly inexpensive all things considered, but I'm worried about messing it up and potentially causing other electrical problems.

You did the right thing, The onboard relays a small, you're better off. Doing what you did, offboard release. They're also easier to change.

Question, I have a CM3000 installed in 2 different cars. While trouble shooting i programmed my 2 way 2w fob to the second car. no its not in "2 car mode" it literately controls BOTH CARS AT THE SAME TIME.. where is the the security? rolling codes?
  • I found your video looking for a solution to my alarm starter. My issue is different then yours. Mine is the locks. The unlock feature dose not work. Can feel the relays in the module clicking. I have relays in the door that also are working. Have power and ground everywhere it needs to be. Door switches work fine. When ya unlock the dom light dims like a short in something. But dose not dim with the switches. Was starting to wonder if it’s a similar issues your having.

Hello robbieray  , I have a question for you. I just bought a 2001 dodge Dakota truck , it already a compustar pro G15 1- way remote start on it , the instructions that you had in your video look the same as what I have found on the internet for my G15  , everything works great with my remote start , the parking lights flash when they are supposed to but the horn does nothing , I went to the local stereo shop that installs these and they want 35 dollars to make the horn honk . I think I can do this . the secondary wires on the G15 says (same as your instructions ) #7 is a white (-) horn output . so here is my question , I assume I tie into a wire coming down the steering column , I can't figure out what color wire that is and do I just ( T ) into it ? any help would be grateful , thank in advance.
