Okay did anyone else see the tears in Varian’s eyes during certain parts (specifically near the beginning)? The line “What about the victims waiting for some justice?” is what I’m referring to specifically. Just goes to show that Varian is still just a kid who wants his dad back. He is a victim turned into a villian. Love this so much! :)

I'm no law expert, there's a clear problems with systems if they allow literal children like Varian to get arrested while far worse grown adults like Cass get off scott-free. Fantastic job with your work, by the way.

hold on, on the episode the king said "we cant arrest children" and he's a child and he got arrested and yet he still helped them when he got out! i wouldn't have!!

This reminds me of a fanfiction I read where Varian is nearly executed and stuff and when he comes back to Corona w Rapunzel and her friends at the end of the first or beginning of the sequel, there is this huge revolution against the king and Rapunzel claims the crown from him and then Varian kicks King Fredric in the balls. It's a really good fic 10/10 would recommend

I would have loved it so much if that was what really happened for varian during season 2 and while rapunzel comes back, instead of a fight against the saporians, she has to change the system to make it fairer. And, mainly, convince varian that she WILL change it... I kind of would have forgotten about Cassandra though probably x'DD
