Sam's story of his changed life, produced for his graduation having completed the Dreambuilders Transformations residential program in 2019. Sam is now a leader with Velocity Transformations in Hobart.

Hey guys, I just wanted to show you a picture of me now and 4 years ago. Back then I was doing the devils bidding, I was doing so much wrong such as ripping off friends and more importantly stealing from my family to support my addictions. I was in a deep dark hole with chains holding me down. Temptation was everywhere and I was too weak to say no.

But one day I saw some light,
1 Corinthians 10.13 says "But when you are tempted, he will also provide you a way out". That was the first time I saw an opportunity and I took it and asked my aunti Gina Macalalad for help. It's been a hard road to get to where I am now, alot of determination, perseverance and drawing strength from God.

God has given me a new life which I'm so grateful for. I've got loving friends, a loving mum Marilu Macalalad De Corrado, I've got a relationship with all my family, and I've got Transformations backing me the whole way forward.

4 years ago I never imagined I would be drug free and the leader of the Transformations residential rehab in Hobart, helping others on their walk to find God and there journey to recovery. I'm so blessed and i want to end this with. "I am evidence that God is real".
