I feel like there's a possibility that I haven't seen many people discuss - Rhaena being included in Nettles' character arc, not as a replacement but as an *addition*? Nettles is great character but she's kind of a solitary figure early on. To translate her arc to television, it would make sense to give her another character to interact with and have dialogue with. I can picture something like - Rhaena is on Dragonstone, out for a walk, and she sees Nettles taming Sheepstealer. She watches her once or twice and then they cross paths and talk. Idk, maybe this is wishful thinking but it would be cool to see them interact. They're girls of a similar age but they've had drastically different lives. It would be a way to explore the class elements of Nettles' arc. And to bring up the question of hereditary dragonriding in dialogue (Rhaena should have a dragon by blood but doesn't, Nettles shouldn't have one but does). By the way I love your channel - I've watched every video at least once. Thanks for your work!! ❤❤

what if nettles cast and be originally appeared in episode 10 and then the hbo cut to episode 8.

The only nettles answer that would have a bad fan response is that she's cut. He has no issue confirming that Daeron isn't cut so that's the only reason I could see him refusing to answer.

I will be so upset if there is no Nettles or Daeron. I need them included and if they include NEITHER of them, I will just be flabbergasted. I just cannot think of a good enough justification to omit Nettles but include made up storylines about Baela/Rhaena instead. I don’t mind them getting more screen time and digging deeper into their characters but not if it is in service of leaving out fan-favorite characters. I hope the ‘no Nettles’ rumors are not true and HBO is just releasing intentionally false leaks to find the rat like the strategy Tyrion employed in Game of Thrones. Or that these characters will be in the next season if not this one. Omitting Nettles would remind me too much of D&D and give me GOT flashbacks when D&D arrogantly thought they could write a better story than George, remove vital characters and give their own take on George’s story. Some additions or changes are fine when adapting a story of course but removing Nettles would be a major change that is not needed nor wanted by the fans. That would be just insane if they made that mistake again so I hope I’m proven wrong and that the fans spreading these rumors on twitter just don’t know what the hell they’re talking about or something.

For the most part I really like Ryan but I hated his response to the Nettles question. He can’t speak about the only black character from the dance of the dragons but he can promise again and again that Daeron will be coming. He can talk about future characters because he’s already done that, but he can’t with Nettles?

Nettles has to be in this show. I don't mind too much if she isn't in this season, but of course I'd prefer it if she was. But she has to be in the show.

She does look perfect for nettles ! But I still wonder if they are gonna merge Rhaena character with nettles ! I really hope they don’t ! As nettles is a fan favorite for so many ! But a lot of character are often cut for budgetary reasons !

I left a comment asking Ms. Hilmar if she had a role or was just invited for fun, because I was too lazy to look it up on IMDB. She sometimes responds to the plebs, but she did not reply to me. So that clearly means nothing, either, but would make sense if she wasn't supposed to talk about her casting yet. Either way, whatever the opposite of "iPhone Face" is, she has that: a face made for historical dramas.
