Watch the full interview here:    • Piers Morgan vs Zlatan Ibrahimovic | ...

Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by former Swedish striker and footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a detailed explanation of his fallout with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola and why his 'dream' transfer transpired into his 'worst nightmare'.

Zlatan believes that Pep failed to address issues with him directly and that this was the root cause for their falling out. Zlatan also adds that he felt Pep had it out for him from the beginning as his very first meeting with the manager led to him criticising Zlatan about driving his Ferrari to training.

Zlatan suggests that to this day he has no idea what the issue Pep had with him was and hasn't spoken to him since he left Barcelona. Zlatan added that when he played for Manchester United against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, the manager would avoid him in the tunnel.

As a Barca fan, when Zlatan said "I tried to fit in instead of being myself" made much more sense in retrospect. I saw him, he looked like he didn't know what to do, why he was even there, I saw when he scored a goal he celebrated much differently to how he celebrates. I still think Guardiola's stubbornness cost him one of the most clutch strikers, he could've used Zlatan the same way he uses Haaland now.

This is why Zlatan is so well respected on and off the field. Always honest, straight shooter and never fake!! Amazing interview

Pep was an young Coach and i think he make huge improvements since then. But Zlatan is right, if you have a Problem then resolve that problem.
  • Zlatan is one of a kind. I love how straight foward he is. No sugar coating or beating around the bush, Zlatan tells it how it is.

“If you wanna play with fire, I’ll bring you fire, but I’ll burn you” This man is on fire 😭
  • @Rac2nd
I always believed Ibrahimovic joining Real Madrid would’ve of made more sense than Barcelona.

Zlatan's articulation is really top notch. He presents a real situation without putting down the subject person (pep) from an objective perspective. He does not shy away from conflicts but manages to put it in a mature manner that both can walk away with their own dignity maintained. It is a pure joy to listen to this man speak in his "funny" manner yet can come across as no-nonsense underneath all that humor.
  • Zlatan has this resonance to his voice when he speaks..its mythical, dominant what a character love ibra for life.

The ending, Zlatan just being Zlatan 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • @AmenyAllan
He distinguished at the start between the coach and the person and he gave the his honours, his troubles were with the personality

Eto'o also had issues with Guardiola at the end at Barca, but well spoken by Zlatan with maturity not dweling on the past.

I am from Barcelona. When I was a child, my family used to call me "Koeman" because of my blond hair. I've never seen my dad so happy as when FC Barcelona won the Champions League against Sampdoria. My uncle would buy tickets for me, my sister, and my cousins to go to Camp Nou whenever he could. It didn't matter whether we were losing or winning; we would always go to support our team. Blau i Grana is in our DNA. Kubala, Cruyff, Schuster, Maradona, Messi, Xavi Hernández, Iniesta, Kluivert, Rivaldo, Stoichkov, Migueli, Puyol, Ronaldinho, Romario, Valdes, and many more – we loved them all. And of course, Zlatan is also on that list. I remember how excited we were when Zlatan joined the team and how sad we felt when he left. He's such a great player and a wonderful person, despite what some might say.

As much as I love Pep and everything he’s achieved, you can sort of tell he has a spitefulness in him and would probably sooner avoid conflict and handle it in a sneaky way than confront someone. Just seems like that type of guy
  • @jamieleejones795
What i like is the fact that even though he dislikes pep or had the fallout with him , he still respects him as a manager and a coach and recognizes the success . I like that . Shows realness
  • @auhsojyihst9440
Yaya, Eto’o said the exact same thing about Pep. Amazing & brilliant tactician, but very conflictual, will keep grudge forever against players, not talk to them, act behind their back and never face to face, until their leave.
