I think the one thing you’re forgetting is this show was primarily made FOR KIDS. Just because all ages can watch the show doesn’t deter the fact that the main stories are for a younger audience.

For bandit and Wendy my theory is that they grew up together,maybe went to the same school or were close because of some other reason,and Wendy was like Judo(Jealous but nice to those she liked). Years later the two have their own kids(not together) and are still close friends,Explaining how they have a lot of trust in each other.

Great video but I think personally the theory is a little bit far-fetched Wendy and jodo was conferred to have had there personalities rewritten because of backlash for the mom and daughter being too mean they were made nicer a lot of the backlash was from the episode where the daughter is mean during the butterfly game Jodo was once even ranked the worst character in the show

Actually, in 'Rag doll', Wendy does not use Bandit's credit card--she uses the five dollar bill the girls found to buy the ice cream--hence the change she returns to Bandit. Also, in 'Stumpfest' Pat shouts to Chili and Trixie "And the ladies watch us get all sweaty!" It looks like he's reminding Chili of something about him that he wants her to take notice of, that she might find attractive. So he might be taking part in the Stumpfest to get Chili's attention.
