3 Clear Reasons Why You SHOULDN'T Start Playing MoP Remix

seems like a weird problem to have to me, "im being carried through everything and becoming stronger and a higher level because of it" not every single group plows through like this and for me when im leveling an alt i like getting someone who nukes the dungeon, free xp, loot, and threads.

forgot to mention how this is a great opportunity for new players to shoot up to lvl 70 on multiple chars in prep for TWW

I would add… “if you only have like maybe 15 hours of game time per week and you don’t want to spend all your game time for the next three months in mop remix, don’t play mop remix.” I got so discouraged seeing how each item upgrade was basically a full work night of gaming for me, just to upgrade ONE PIECE OF GEAR 14 item levels.

My biggest issue is trying to tag rares. Once they activate, they're dead, sometimes instantly. Rares on Timeless Isle have millions of HP, but once activated, Monks using Death Touch to gank them when 20 people were standing around waiting for it, is a little shortsighted on Blizzard's part. They should have given all rares a minute debuff with a 99% damage reduction so people could have a chance to tag them. I'm just farming some bronze to finish up the stuff I don't have. I have all the exclusive transmogs and mounts, and most of the pre-existing mounts. I didn't set foot in anything higher than LFR a few times. I just leveled 6 characters in Remix to get everything so far. That gives me 22 level 70s now. Might make another throwaway to round it out, though.

Every day it gets a little harder for low levels to get into normal dungeon groups. I know this because I'm leveling a bunch of characters at about 1 per day and I've seen it get harder each day. This makes me think that pretty soon the carries are going to all but dry up as people get bored. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to finish out my goal.

It is important to know that this is not classic MoP, this is remix. An event like plunderstorm with limited new and easier to collect old rewards. Mobs dont even drop anything besides threads and bronze. Not too late to start MoP at any point even 2 weeks before the end. If the time investment in gear bothers anyone then wow is not for them. It is faster to complete or reach good enough gear in remix than in retail or classic. The events almost completely last as long as S4. You missed out the best thing of remix which is alt leveling. There was never any better way and wont be in the near future. 80-90mins with a help of friend to level 10-70 is too good to ignore. And with so many ppl leveling alts it is very common to get in group with boosters in hc dungeon.

Your excitement and joy for the game is contagious and doesn't come off as fake, which isn't always something that you can put your finger on a viewer, but you can definitely feel it. Each upload you do just gets me hyped for when i log back in and check out the stuff you're talking about. Thanks for all your effort, you're doing great!!

I decided to do a Heroic dungeon for the daily today on my level 70 Resto Druid and watched the party vote kick a level 20 Death Knight because he was "running ahead of the tank and soloing the dungeon." I was so fucking confused. Like isn't that the point of this event? It's not even the first time I've seen this happen either. Right now it seems like people are mad if you're a Frogger or if you're a low level taking advantage of the fucky scaling. I mean, after the first day all of the content in MoP Remix has just been a hold W walking simulator. I don't give a fuck, but I have to do it if I want the things because FOMO.

If you are interested in doing instances than it sucks; if you do other things it's still pretty fun. It's still a good way to get a few cosmetics and level up a character you want to try in the new expansion.

4th reason to play: If you like soloing content. I found progressing through normal raids (pre-bronze buffs), and now heroic raids with my dk on my own very fulfilling. Don't think there was ever a state where those levels of solo-play of current group-content were ever possible. A lof of fights are face-roll, but there are some mechanically tight encounters that require clever tricks, especially if not fully maxed on stats. Its only a shame that SoO can't technically be soloed (galakras), and that secondarys still have their hard-cap (so mythic solo won't be double by most classes/people).

Pally, warlock, Druid, Rogue all levelled up. (Yes there’s been a lot of keybinding). It’s great to do the questing from diff faction and diff areas of the island.

I've finish playing remix, I only did it for two reasons, (1) those mounts and toy's I did not get back when MOP was current and (2) to level up some alts on different servers for Warbands in TWW for gold making

well i mean, i get it if you are new and wanna learn everything, then i understand that running in the back and just loot mobs and then its over, is not the best way to learn. But for me who have not played every class i still learn by doing quests. Today i started up a priest, never played it and i think im learning pretty good while im questing. I also think that not every dungeon and raid have been a walk in the park. So if u really wanna learn a class and think doing quests is not for you, yeah then i would go classic or just go regular retail. I mean remix is a different mode, and if you dont get that point, well then its not for you. But if you wanna get mounts, transmogs (if you are a new player) and just go with the flow for what it is, then i think its should work out pretty good as well.

It literally pops up to tell you when you go to make a new character, that the timerunning characters are an advanced way to play, and makes you confirm that, so if a new player is stumbling onto it, they should know that it isn't meant for new players... To complain about it is so weird..

I'm absolutely loving remix n hoping they do other expansions in the future. I'm blowing stuff up, playing stress free and it being actually FUN, and collecting mounts I need. Win - Win. Love it. Plus quickly leveling multiple alts while I'm at it.

Ive been playing since the birth of WoW and finally took a break when DF came, i am only playing Remix to fill in the holes that are in my collection and that is all lol

Do what you want but if you wanna be OP and you already have a max level character you can go just about anywhere in the whole game and kill stuff with ease… I just don’t see the appeal of endgame remix. I’ve leveled 5 characters easier than I I ever have tho which is what I thought was the real point of remix and getting transmog and mounts 🤷

People who complain can just go and play WoW retail and leave the fun for us that enjoys MoP Remix. Getting all those mounts, rare armor set, achievements and are alllowed one last time to see and experience Mists of Pandaria and its Faction in an fast pace tempo.

I love it when i get speedcarried personally.

I think there is plenty of time left. i am going story and rep mainly and enjoying it. I will never have enough to fully upgrade or get all the stuff.
