Taylor, as a dad I'll tell you that having kiddie rides spread throughout the park is a very VERY good thing. It's one of the many reasons I think BGW is one of the best parks in the country. If you have little kids and they can ride something everywhere in the park it really makes a park day nicer. Otherwise, they get bored and then you have to spend 30-50% of the day in the kiddie area because your kids want to ride rides and don't want to just stand in lines while mom and dad do parent swap for a ride the kids won't get to ride.

Honestly, the best part of Hershey is standing under bear and in that area between comet, skyrush, and superdooperlooper. hearing all the sounds with bear and screams is euphoric. It will forever be my favorite part of the park, as much as i adore the rides.

I feel like I've been spoiled having this place as my home park for so long. I often take for granted just how good their coaster collection is and overall how good the experience of a day at Hersheypark is! It's hard not to enjoy this place honestly.
  • Thanks for pointing out about the kiddie areas. I live not far away, so I've been going to HersheyPark since my kid was very small. I like the fact that if you're only doing the kiddie rides, you're not stuck in one small area of the park, and can experience the whole place. I also like that the coasters have a wide range of intensity, so if you're introducing a child to coasters, the park always has something appropriate for them as they grow. It's a fantastic park for families, in my opinion.

My father was the top machinist for Hershey Park for 44 years making and repairing the parts needed for the rides to work. We would get in free every year to go to the park. I'm proud of my father for help keeping the rides going and being safe to ride.
  • The reason the kids rides are spread out is because Milton Hershey wanted the family to be able to “play together”- which is why it’s all spread out ❤

Hersheypark seems to be a small local park that became a big super park, on the level of Six Flags and Cedar Fair. Therefore it has elements of both a big chain park, and a homegrown park with a tiny bit of disney sprinkled in with Chocolate world and their characters
  • Used to be a life guard here back when I was in high school. Definitely had some really good memories there! Marathoning all the rides on your days off for free admission just hits different lol. Thanks for re-reviewing this park Taylor🙏🏼
  • Hershey park is my home park I’ve been going there for years so I absolutely adore it. I also am probably one of few people to actually know exactly where to go and where everything is in Hersheypark. I will admit it is confusing. Also the water park is there as that is the space where they had other water attractions at the time so it jsur fit there nicely when it first opened.

I do think Hershey park could use more “extreme” flat rides

The way you said "🎶 Moe's 🎵" really warmed my heart for some reason :)

The park looks GREAT near the entrance and it’s pretty modern, but as you walk towards the back, it slowly gets older and starts to get stale. It feels like I’m walking back in time. 😂 This is something I noticed going for 10 years, last visit in 2020.
  • I agree that Hersheypark has one of the best coaster collections in the world even though I haven't been there!
  • If u have 3 intamins at a park u know they are gonna have an amazing coaster lineup
  • Even though Dorney is technically my home park I have way more memories here and I get so nostalgic for this charming ass park.... I’m so proud of Hershey! It’s up there with cedar point now and ugggggh I’m so happy for it

8:23 So what you're telling me is that Hershey RMC'd their bathrooms?
  • Hands down my favorite park. The ride selection, food, staffing are all top notch. Also just a pretty cool town and area.
