A 41-0 Conference Championship loss is exactly what I would expect from a season the Vikings started off undefeated in.
  • @DiegoInParis
I find it crazy that Jerry Rice had 1k receiving yards in his late 30s

The Colts started 14-0 and went 14-2. The Saints started 13-0 and went 13-3. Lost a total of 5 games to end the regular season and played each other in the Super Bowl.
  • Giants knocking off the Pats and creating 18-1 will never not be legendary
  • The only undefeated season that matters... is the postseason.

Ugh, 2016 was rough. We got crushed in Philly after the bye week and it all went downhill from there.

"Did you know the Chiefs started 9-0 in 2003?"
As a Chiefs fan since the 80s, yes, I remember it well. We had a lot of great seasons that we choked away in the playoffs.
What I did NOT remember, though, was that sick ass block by Trent Green. Hot damn!

being at super bowl 42 was amazing and it was glorious to see the perfect season to become 18-1
  • That 11-0 record from my Steelers was a fluke. If our offense was more well balanced, maybe they could’ve been more dominant in December. I wonder who will be the first team to beat the Eagles this season. I don’t think they’re gonna loose to either the Texans or Commanders. However, from Week 11 and beyond who knows 👀
  • 2015 had the following;

    Patriots start 10-0
    Bengals start 8-0
    Broncos start 7-0
    Panthers start 15-0
    Packers start 6-0
    Falcons start 5-0
  • Brady and the Pats 21 game winning streak over 2 seasons back in the 2000's was insane
  • So the '06 Colts are the only SB champions. Though a few crashed and burnt altogether, it's amazing how many of these teams ended up making the SB then losing.
  • So now you know how difficult it is to go undefeated, one team can say they’re perfect, the ‘72 Dolphins. And yes, there’s been teams that have come close in the NFL, but you need a lot of good and fortunate things to happen to your team to make it happen.

Now we need a What Happened to the Last Team to get a Win since 2000. Perhaps include who they drafted the next season.
  • @BaboonZone
I will NEVER forget Cam's Panthers. Not even my team but was incredible to watch
  • That panthers season was insane and will always be the best season of my life
  • You left out the Saints' 13-0 record in 2009, before losing their last three games, including an improbable overtime loss to a 2-14 Tampa Bay team. At 13-3, they beat the Colts in SB XLIV.
