Why people have had enough of Jagex

People are tired of the lack of updates for Rs3 and I see why.

Just play osrs. I'm sitting on a red phat that may never see the light of day because it's just such a sad game to play.
  • As King Condor Would say, because of all the frustrations you have shared in comparison with OSRS, “RuneScape 3…. Is f*cking dog sh*t.”
  • The only reason I play rs3 is because it DOES have SO MUCH more in terms of updates. You're severely mistaken if you think the new area is anywhere near as fleshed out as half the minor updates released for rs3 in the last year....

good luck brother im osrs but keep on the grind
  • unfortunately there team is that small(best estimate could be 25-30 people aka ~15% that of most major mmorpgs). it's been stripped, cast off and relocated to osrs. it's also not jagex we should be uset with it should be the hands it feeds (shareholders/investors and investment groups) that keep cycling the company for the quick buck it makes as jagex only gets to do what is approved. they only see that the money keeps coming in despite poor updates. no true hiring is happening only filling of major positions. the instant it was sold by the gowers the care and passion for the game disappeared cause it was no longer privately owned and the focus shifted from making a good game to making a profitable one.

Dude, you're getting so upset over RS3 being dead, but you need to realise that you're being a little delusional. 2010 dug the grave for what eventually became RS3 with the 10x to HP and damage, followed by the EOC. They kept forcing updates into the game that players hated, kept removing parts that made the game enjoyable for so many others, and simply cast aside the voice of the community. The final nail in the coffin for what is RS£ was the Wheel of Fortune. And although the diehard RS3 players basically floated the company for a few months, and as an osrs player, I am eternally grateful to those people, but the fact is that game almost made Jagex go bankrupt. I found it hard to detach from RSC into RS2 for the first year. I was attached to my skills and the way my game looked and played, but if I hadn't moved on, I would have had to suffer the death of the game a few years later anyway (even with minor resurgences). My point is that the company has evolved, the game has evolved, and the community has evolved. Theres a reason the game has so few players; this video is a testament to that, but the problem has existed for so long at this point that you are wasting time, energy, and emotion on a shell of a game that doesn't care about you back.

Controversial take but... All these comments of people saying to play OSRS, but lets be real OSRS has gone down hill in the past 4-5 years too.. We have not had a good update since probably CoX/Tob and inferno.. Everytime you turn around they nerf everything without a poll so they can turn around and release new content with gear to that of which the caliber we had previously before nerfs. Both games are ran like complete ass honestly.

lol why am i getting rs3 videos recommended? I don't even play osrs anymore. Though if you're fed up with rs3, i highly suggest you move over to oldschool.
  • @mraimhigh4522
90 percent of old school RuneScape users are just people tired of Jagex’s poor updates on R3. Nothing will bring me back to R3. I’ll be on happy on old school for a long time. I gave up complaining about R3 years ago.

part of the problem with jagex is they dont have real player support, when they false ban someone and deny an appeal that should be approved, you have no means to reach anyone, short of being lucky enough to get ahold of 1 jmod, if you can.
  • This video adds nothing of value, the RS3 playerbase has been saying this for over half a decade. Hell I came back to RS3 in 2017, played for a year and a half and it was the same complaints back then as it is currently. Just look at the player count for the game, it's on an extremely slow decline, focus on MTX and not content has been doing WONDERS for jagex on the RS3 side while they have to put in actual effort impressing the OSRS crowd which has resulted in the game continuing to grow.
  • @JordanJ01
Rs3 is dead, it has been for a while. The devs just stopped trying to hide it with content updates. It'll only get worse.
  • @PukeSandwich
My brother in Christ old school is shrimply superior. HIGHLY suggest you scope newer content such as perilous moons or even shoot for a quest cape. Overcoming mechanics and being a better player is where all the fun of RuneScape is and it just has that perfect touch of nostalgia to bring it home. You can v easily get 70 combats through slayer questing and nmz and begin doing learner raids shortly after.

I don’t mean to be rude but make sure you are properly annunciating your words. 10% of this video is unintelligible because you’re slurring words together.
