The prices are honestly outrageous for a mini starship
-
That Falcon is honestly stunning. Great display piece.
-
The prices are out of control. These should be 40-50 MAX. Lego's pricing is the main reason I'm getting out of Lego.
-
It would be so cool to see a midscale Venator.
-
You may be Falcon’d out - but for those of us who have never had the money to pull the trigger on a bigger Lego Falcon, this version of the Falcon was almost an instabuy for me. Excellent review!
-
As a starship enthusiast the Tantive IV and the Invisible Hand are a must buy only… in a year when the price drops 😂
-
100% agree, that each set needed a "unique" minifigure. This would have really excited the community. That being said, I bought them all anyway. Love the display options.
-
The Invisible Hand splitting in half is amazing
-
I love that we got the midi scale back
-
I think they are awesome. And everyone gets it wrong, the Tantive's head is just the right size. I would love to see a Venator, an MC75 and a re-release of the base Star Destroyer in this form. Edit: Thank you guys for 200 likes! Also I know, it LOOKS awkward, but compared to the OT version of the ship (Not rebels, not ROTS,), Its maybe only a few milimeters off.
-
Ships is better than helmets for sure. For me the one missing thing is them all being to scale to each other
-
When David said "Even sequels sets like this" inmediatly came the Supremacy to my mind, would be awesome!
-
Honestly, if adding a minfigure adds another $5 to the price (which I suspect it would), I really wouldn't want it. Side note: that last shot with all 5 midi ships together is gorgeous!
-
I absolutely love the idea of midi-scale being brought back, but am i the only one who finds it sus that they've changed the name of the line? "Starship Collection" by default excludes ground vehicles, limiting options for future sets... or at least it sounds like it.
-
These are perfect for home offices. If I was into Star Wars I'd definitely get one of these for my desk. The price point is a big issue though.
-
the capital ships that are released with this lineup is a big win, ships like the Executor or the Invisible Hand are the exact reasons why this is going to sell. I'd love figures for it as well, but I also have figures of my own so I can't really complain (The Boba Fett from the mech + his pauldron from bricklink along with Vader really makes the SSD something else)
-
Why is the executor set "infamous"? I thought everyone liked it...
-
I never thought lego would ever make a separatist battleship of any type, that’s sick
-
I know they’re more expensive for the size of ship you’re getting, but for me the detail makes up for it. For me, these sets are perfect, exactly what I want in a display model series
-
Invisible Hand is cheaper than the other two so it will sell more. Waiting til May 4th to order them to get double points plus GWP
