I know it's very early to say this but Madueke really needs to fix his decision making before the season begins.

None of these defenders better than chalobah.

I think Angelo deserves a chance in the first team…his deliveries are spot on. We have an overload of rws in our team but i feel he deserves a chance.

Tosin looked very similar to Isak when he entered the field 😂

The problem with Madueke is he sees the praise Palmer is rightly getting and he wants it to be him..All his actions are geared towards him as the goal scorer shoting when he is suppose to just pass.

Last year we beat Wrexham 5-0! I don’t want to be negative and I hope Maresca is successful. We desperately need some stability. But great managers like Ancelotti, Lippi and Tuchel work out the best system to suit their squad. They don’t impose a system and encourage their players to express themselves. Even Guardiola refined and developed what were signature features of Barcelona and has had fantastic squads to manage. Klopp, Conte, Mourinho and Guardiola at City had essentially had picked teams of exceptional players to mould into their style of play and have success with. There are plenty of examples of managers at Chelsea who tried and failed to impose their ideas- Potter, Scolari, Villas-Boas, Sarri. Remember Sarriball?

Don't know why everyone is complaining, the team was full of academy players, we were missing a large portion of our 1st team players, and at least 3 of the players who are 1st team just came back from a long injury spell

An unpopular opinion: Angelo Gabriel is playing a more matured game than Noni Madueke. No unnecessary dribbling, always going for the better option that is he knows when to pass and when to dribble to try his luck on goal. Last season, the excuse what that Madueke should be pardoned because he didn't join the preseason. This time around I wonder what the excuse will be like should Angelo outperformed him this preseason*

Tosin and fofana needs to work on their ball recovery as a defender. Tosin lost a ball and waited for badiashelle to recover while fofana Mr . Pre-season was showing to much space for the defenders to play the ball....they should improve...likewise ben chilwell.
