Love how he solved the case faster because he wanted to go talk to Lisbon. He normally plays with his victims- this was Patrick Jane all business.

Jane was so focused on getting to Lisbon that he straight up hate-solved that second crime, because their murder was slowing him down.

One of the best detective shows out there. A good balance between the gruesome nature of the crimes and the comedic elements, with some really hard-rending moments. I've been binging Nordic Noir and enjoying the shows but they leave me depressed like hell . I miss a show like this.

I love these little details. I wonder if there is someone who broke down all the scenes in the mentalist like i tried here. Would love to read it all.

It’s so cute and sad seeing how worried Jane got when he heard Lisbon was leaving. Jisbon is the best couple ever.

Simon Baker is so underrated. He is such a good actor. Just wish I can see more of him on Netflix. As an Aussie we should petition to see more of him on screen.

Fastest solve goes to Monk though. In the episode where he was obsessed about his shirts (S04E11 or something) it took him 5 seconds. Officer: “Wife says she found her husband’s body coming home from cello lessons.” Monk: “She’s lying. No way she can play cello in that skirt.”
